Kapitel 12: Flerg The Glutton
Tatsumi is getting shook back and forth with muffled yelling in the background making him confused.
"TATSUMI WAKE UP! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK WAKE UP!" Ariel screamed shaking him
Tatsumi rushed out of the back of the carriage seeing they are surrounded by the bandits as the rest of the company are locked in a fight apart from himself, Shu, and Ariel who is currently casting support magic on the others.
Berig raises his heavy sword slashing downwards towards one of the bandits' chest splitting him in half, the blood spilling everywhere as he charges past the body before the upper half even hits the ground attacking another bandit's neck. Berig's blade inching towards the scared bandit's neck, cutting it clean off cutting all the way through slashing the bandit next to him as well.
"Berig Behind YOU!" screamed Sasha
Two strong bandits dressed in black with red masks charge towards his face, the blades nearing his eyes and stomach before Shu grabs him, pulling him back towards the rest of the group. The bandits are joined by two more almost identical to each other.
"Tatsumi, Shu, you two go find the boss, we got this, trust us and go." Ariel says calmly
Tatsumi and Shu run up the road towards a lookout point on the mountain road where they see a giant staring off into the distance. The giant turns around slowly, towering far above them, standing at around nine feet tall, bulky built with a giant war axe the size of a cow, a burn scar in his chest, white hair and ogre-like teeth.
"I'm guessing you are the boss aye?" Says Tatsumi with confidence
"Just come fight already." The Deep voice bellows loudly
Tatsumi and Shu charge at him slashing at the ogres wrists dodging under his massive body each slashing the back sides of his knees deeply almost separating the legs from his body.
"That barely even tickled." said the bandit ogre
The Bandit begins to heal his wounds without any magic being cast as he just stands there looking at them, Tatsumi dashes towards him again chanting,
"Come forth, winds of sylph, BLADE OF GALADRIEL"
A wind sword appeared by Tatsumi's side launching it into the bandit kings chest causing multiple blades of wind to pour out from where the blade him cutting the insides of his body up slashing out ward as the blood seeps through the open wounds healing as soon as they appeared. Tatsumi slashes his neck as Shu runs his sword through his stomach, The bandit stood there smiling as the wound on his neck healed and said,
"I guess it's my turn to attack now, right?"
Swinging his fist into Shu's side launching him into the mountain side coughing.
"My name is Flerg, the unkillable ogre."
Flerg walks towards his axe lifting it up with ease, charging towards Tatsumi swinging it with great strength as Tatsumi Leaps up putting his right hand on the axe using it to propel himself behind Flerg slashing down his back. Flerg quickly turns around slashing his ax again as if it was no more than a childs toy smashing the the ground beneath them leaving a deep cut in the stone.
"Do not run, I want to fight more and more, if you don't fight me, I'll just eat you." Flerg says coldly
Shu appears behind Flerg cutting deeply into his right side cutting through his lung, as Tatsumi slashes his left side cutting deeply into his neck almost beheading him, yet his wounds healed almost instantly as they stood there staring at Flerg bewildered and out of ideas on how to kill this beast.
"How are you able to heal like that, not even the great clerics can heal that fast." Shu says confused
"Ah.. about that.. Have you heard the rumors around me? The fact I ate the children to become stronger?" Flerg asks confidently
"Yes, I have" Tatsumi says calmly
"It's not entirely false, allow me to tell you a story." Flerg says confidently
—--FLASHBACK—
"I can give you the power you need, just kill me and it's yours." an old man says looking at a weak man
The weak man grabs a knife stabbing into the old mans throat as soon as the old man draws his final breath the weak man screams out in pain.
"You're the new one, huh?" A demonic voice bellows in his head
Knowledge begins flowing into his head and thoughts that aren't his own telling him ways to become unkillable.
"You have my curse now, use it, gluttonize, and then use edible." the demonic voice says to him
Flerg begins walking through a city as he sense a power, he rushes towards the smell of the power and comes across a young orphan boy in an alley looking up at him scared.
The boy turns to run as Flerg lifts his hand and speaks coldly,
"Gluttonize"
A black goo shoots from his palm encasing the boy completely as it slowly begins to shape into a circle, hearing the screams from the boy and the bones and blood being broken and sprayed around outside the circle staining the walls with his blood, the screaming becomes quiet as the circle is about as big as a ball.
"Release."
The circle disappears as blood drops onto the floor covering the alley with it leaving nothing behind but a bright green orb as Flerg reaches towards it and grabs it lifting it up to his mouth,
"Edible"
He begins to absorb it into his mouth, making his body grow a bright green, a slight wound on his hand healing without magic. Flerg smiles monstrously as he smells another healing power and begins making his way out of the alley towards the smell.
