Chapter-46
VALENCIA'S POV
I didn't dare to turn around. I was afraid to do so.
Why? Because I could feel the anger coursing through him even when he sat just behind me.
"Sold at $20000," the host said, and I gulped.
I didn't want to stay here anymore, but how was I supposed to tell Aiden about it without alerting the man behind me?
Right. I should go with the washroom excuse and call Aiden out later. This seemed to be the best-fitting solution.
Happy with my plans, I told Aiden I was going to the washroom, ensuring it was loud enough for a couple of chairs around us to hear before I left.
'I need to pee. Take us to the washroom,' Aurora said as soon as I came a little farther from the event hall, and I scowled.
'Aurora, you are literally a soul in my head space. Can you stop overreacting all the time? You can't feel the urge to pee. And if WE would need to pee, I would feel it too,' I rolled my eyes at her.
