Kapitel 29: Black imprints

VALENCIA'S POV

I thought I would hear a scolding and a series of colorful words for my actions, but to my surprise, what I heard next was a loud laughter from Dylan.

"Hahaha... I can't believe my eyes. Did the almighty Carl get bashed?" Dylan said, his voice was full of amusement, and I daringly walked towards the kitchen.

As soon as I reached there, my eyes met Carl's angry and annoyed ones, and I felt even more awkward.

"Carl, you have grown into a fine man. I totally couldn't recognize you," I said to ease the tension between us, and he rolled his eyes before looking at his hands and I coughed to hide my embarrassment.

Of course, I need to untie him.

Glaring at Dylan, who was still rolling on the ground, enjoying the miseries of his cousin, I stepped ahead and removed the gag from Carl's mouth before untying him.

'Hey! Will anyone tell me what's happening? Dylan? Valencia?'
