Author's POV:
John and James frantically searched the bustling mall, their anxiety mounting with each passing second. The skating arena was a maze of people, and they felt the weight of responsibility pressing down on their shoulders. They knew something was wrong. Huang Yanyan should have returned by now.
As they neared the exit, James spotted something on the floor. "John, look!"
It was Huang Yanyan's purse, lying abandoned near the door. John's heart sank as he bent down to pick it up. "This isn't good. She would never leave her purse behind willingly."
James nodded, his jaw clenched. "We need to call Mr. Huang."
John pulled out his phone and dialed Huang Jiang's number, his fingers trembling slightly. The call connected, and a deep, authoritative voice answered.
"Mr. Huang, it's John. We have a problem. Yanyan is missing. We found her purse at the mall exit."
