The city is a network of intricate waterways linking each island, making water transportation the primary method for moving around or delivering goods.
As Byakuya docked his warship at the shore, he admired the azure beauty of Water 7, with its central three-tiered fountain that created numerous water channels flowing throughout the city.
This was a city one could only see in anime and was even more beautiful in real life.
Tashigi and Ain, who were also visiting Water 7 for the first time, were immediately captivated by its beauty.
Seeing their excitement, Byakuya chuckled and said, "Since we're on holiday, you don't need to follow me. Enjoy exploring the city on your own."
Upon hearing this, Tashigi and Ain were so thrilled they nearly hugged Byakuya in gratitude. In no time, they were off exploring.
Water 7's top-notch shipbuilding technology attracted many people needing ships, including pirates.
On his way here, Byakuya had already seen no fewer than four pirate crews.
However, he didn't believe any pirate in the first half of the Grand Line posed a threat to Tashigi and Ain.
Recognizing Byakuya's ship as a Marine Rear Admiral's vessel, all pirates steered clear to avoid being targeted.
A Marine Rear Admiral still held significant deterrent power.
Byakuya instructed, "Quake, stay on the ship and watch in case any fools try to take our branch."
"Yes, Rear Admiral Byakuya, you can count on me."
Byakuya leapt off the ship, wearing a casual shirt and shorts outfit with Fūmei at his waist, looking like a swordsman on vacation in Water 7.
His purpose here was to build a ship and to make the best use of the Treasure Tree Adam. He naturally aimed to find the best shipwright in Water 7.
He had already decided on the shipwright he wanted.
Relying on his vague memories, Byakuya navigated the bustling city until he found a familiar bar. "Bruno's Bar, what a straightforward name."
Standing at the bar's entrance with a piece of delicious, addictive water meat he had bought while finding his way, Byakuya prepared to search for Bruno, a member of CP9 disguised as the bar owner.
Despite Bruno's underwhelming display of strength in the anime, his Devil Fruit power was incredibly overpowered.
The Door-Door Fruit allowed users to turn any object they touched into a door, enabling them to create doors and move freely through them.
This ability was akin to a partial space manipulation fruit and was perfect for assassination, escape, and surveillance.
Unfortunately, it was eaten by the simple-minded Bruno.
However, even if he couldn't obtain the Door-Door Fruit, recruiting Bruno himself would still be advantageous.
Byakuya pushed open the door and immediately wrinkled his nose at the unpleasant environment.
The mix of alcohol, sweat, and various other odours, combined with the noisy chatter, was instantly off-putting.
At that moment, even the meat in his hand lost its appeal.
At the door, some dancers were lingering around. When they saw Byakuya, such a handsome young man, their eyes lit up instantly.
He was so good-looking and well-built that even if they couldn't get money from him, getting his body wouldn't be a loss!
Soon, three scantily clad dancers approached Byakuya, revealing large expanses of fair skin except for three small areas.
Thinking she was particularly attractive, one dancer was the first to step in front of Byakuya.
She deliberately displayed her ample chest and, in a seductive, sweet voice, said,
"Hey handsome, is this your first time at a bar? Want me to show you around?"
As she spoke, she tried to wrap her arms around Byakuya and rub against him with her large assets.
Byakuya took a half step back, frowned, and said, "Get lost!"
The three dancers were stunned.
They had been in the business for many years and had never encountered someone like Byakuya, who told them to get lost.
Nearby, a drunken, sleazy man stood up, displeased, and said, "Kid, treating beautiful ladies like this, are you trying to make everyone angry?"
The sleazy man was already upset when he saw the three dancers proactively flirting with Byakuya.
He thought about how he would pay extra, but the dancers still weren't willing.
Yet, as soon as Byakuya arrived, three dancers approached him willingly, making the sleazy man even more jealous.
That's why, when Byakuya rejected the dancers, he stood up, hoping to get the dancers' attention and maybe score a home run tonight!
Byakuya was feeling a bit regretful now. He should have brought his subordinates from his ship to clean out these guys. It wasn't very pleasant!
Byakuya shouted, "All of you, get out!"
The terrifying killing intent radiated from him instantly, causing the temperature to drop sharply, making the lively bar fall silent.
Everyone in the bar looked at Byakuya in horror. Bruno, who was pouring drinks at the bar, also noticed Byakuya.
The sleazy man was intimidated by Byakuya's aura and extremely frightened, but maybe wanting to show off in front of the dancers or drinking alcohol gave him some courage.
He gritted his teeth, pointed at Byakuya, and said, "You—"
Before he could finish, a bamboo skewer pierced his head, leaving only a small section exposed.
Blood flowed out along the skewer, making the scene extremely gruesome.
Byakuya still had a few bamboo skewers in his hand, looked around coldly, and said, "Anyone still here in five seconds won't be leaving at all!"
Seeing that Byakuya dared to kill, everyone in the bar panicked and scrambled to escape, fearing they wouldn't get out in time.
Especially the dancers who had tried to get close to Byakuya now wanted to be as far away from him as possible.
Meanwhile, Bruno's face changed dramatically. This visitor was not friendly.
Based on his experience, Bruno immediately realized that this young man was probably coming for him.
Taking advantage of the bar's chaos, nobody noticed him, so Bruno placed his hand on the wall.
Instantly, a door-shaped pattern appeared on the wall.
Bruno quickly pulled the door open, but just as he opened a crack, a bamboo skewer, wrapped in a faint red aura, flew past Bruno and nailed itself to the door, embedding it completely into the wall.
The space door created by his ability was instantly dispersed.
Bruno became somewhat panic-stricken. In all the years of using his ability, it was the first time he had seen it fail.
By now, the bar was empty. Byakuya walked up to the bar, looked at Bruno, and said calmly, "That's a pretty good ability. I like it!"
