The accident during the boarding practice ended with Hilio's expulsion from the academy, his record did have a blemish in the form of a sanction, punishment and expulsion, several cadets had died because of him, he was given the possibility of continuing as a soldier awaiting a destination when his six-month suspension was over and the boy accepted.

The press echoed the case, the detractors of the Olympeion took care to feed on the situation but with the bait of a reckless cadet most of the attacks focused on the boy. Even if he continued to serve the army, it would cost him a lot of forgiveness from society, any future or military career beyond being a simple soldier was already ruled out for Hilio.

Logically he was relieved of command of the defense team in the practices, they did not even let him finish the course, although his colleagues supported him the cadet was clearly depressed.
