"You think I'm trying to deceive you...?" asked Will, grinning as he added, "Then let's flip the table. You're the one who presented the idea of taking on the Trials of the Six Dragon Kings. There has to be a reason for that, so my wager is my integrity against yours...I will train seriously to overcome the Trials, and you will teach me with the same sincerity. If I succeed, my Decree is yours to dictate, no questions asked."

"How is this a wager...?" asked Mjrnakhan, crossing her arms and raising her right brow.

Maintaining his smile, Will explained, "Because I am placing my trust in you and your vision...if you don't train me seriously or issue me a Trial I cannot possibly overcome, my life is as good as forfeit. But that will also be your loss, as it means you will have put convenience before your pride and honor. In that case, your only form of recourse would be honoring my last request..."
