"We support each other," countered Will, inadvertantly extending his hand to caress Lux's conveniently positioned head. However, as it was far from his first time doing so, she didn't have a notable reaction or question what he was doing. Rather, one of the reasons she was standing so close to his carriage's entrance was to make it more convenient for him to do so.
