Chapter Thirty-Eight

"What's up?"

Yin Tian looked at Xia Nianbing with interest, the smile on his lips seemed to confirm that he had seen through the little cunning thoughts of hers.

"Umm... Hmm..."

Xia Nianbing's mind raced.

She herself didn't know what else there was to say, but she just didn't want Yin Tian to leave; she wanted him to keep her company.

Suddenly, she had an idea, "I have a party tonight and everyone is bringing a date, but I don't have one, so you can stand in for the time being."

This morning, she indeed received an invitation to a party, but she had no intention of going.

When Yin Tian asked her if there was anything else, she couldn't think of another way to keep him around, so she blurted out about the party.

"Is that so..."

Yin Tian pretended to contemplate.

"What do you say?"

Xia Nianbing pouted, looking expectantly at Yin Tian.

"Alright then."

Yin Tian agreed.

"Mhm mhm!"

Xia Nianbing nodded repeatedly, looking adorably eager.
