Sayaka then jumped towards where Kanon was and tried to get rid of the magic circuit that she saw.

As Sayaka's magical heritage was about to make contact with Kanon, a thin barrier suddenly materialized, creating a stalemate. An explosion erupted, sending both of them flying in opposite directions.

Sayaka managed to get herself right in mid-air but Kanon fell to the ocean which she immediately flew above using her angel wings.

Alex also saw this causing him to narrow his eyes as he didn't think there was a counter to his magical heritage, but didn't care after he thought about phase 2 of all the magical heritage all have.

Alex glanced at the other girls. Kiriha was currently facing off against Beatrice, while La Folia was battling a demon man. Meanwhile, Kensei stood nearby, holding a remote.

Alex saw La Folia manage to kill the beast man using the knife attached to her handgun, which was merely a disguise for its true form a holy sword.

La Folia seemed to sense his gaze, turning to look at him with a serious expression. Her look quickly softened into a gentle smile as she waved at Alex, causing him to wave back.

Alex saw Kiriha about to deliver the final blow to Beatrice. He quickly intervened, grabbing her weapon. She swung at him in response, but he managed to catch it.

By the time Kiriha realized who she had just struck, her eyes widened in shock. She immediately knelt before him.

"I apologize, Alex. I didn't know it was you," Kiriha said, her voice filled with regret. Alex didn't mind and simply rubbed her head reassuringly.

"No need, I'm also at fault. I surprised you while you were focused" Alex said. Kiriha slowly nodded in agreement. Alex then summoned the power of his 12th familiar, Alrescha-Glacies, to envelope Beatrice in ice. With a swift motion, he called upon his 3rd familiar, Al-Meissa Mercury, to transport the frozen Beatrice to his lab on Itogami Island.

La Folia joined Alex and Kiriha as they turned their attention to Sayaka, who was battling Kanon. They noticed that Kanon now had eyes embedded in her wings.

Seeing Sayaka on the verge of being overwhelmed, she prepared to unleash her second phase, the Witch Hunter form. However, she hesitated as she felt Alex's intent. Sayaka looked at him.

"Let me handle this, I'm bored" Alex declared, stretching his body as he focused on Kanon, who hovered menacingly in the sky.

"Please don't hurt her too much" La Folia reminded Alex, prompting him to nod in acknowledgment.

Alex then summoned his familiar with the most physical damage potential.

"Come out, Regulus-Aurum!" Alex summoned his 5th familiar who roared showing off its power as lightning crackled around Regulus-Aurum.

"Do it" With a resounding roar, Regulus-Aurum charged towards Kanon, unleashing a powerful attack that caused an explosion upon impact. Kanon was sent crashing to the ground, while Regulus-Aurum swiftly returned to Alex's side.

Alex narrowed his eyes in surprise as he noticed Kanon came out from the explosion completely unharmed.

"Physical nullification barrier? That's interesting"

"Come out, Al-Meissa Mercury!" Alex commanded, causing his 5th familiar to gradually fade away as his 3rd familiar materialized beside him.

"Round two" Alex declared, As Kanon released a shockwave from her voice, the others scrambled to grab onto something, bracing themselves against the powerful shockwave.

Alex stood his ground, observing Kanon's surroundings as it transformed into crystallized mana. His familiarity with crystallized mana came from his experiments, which allowed him to recognize Kanon's uncontrollable power.

Making crystallized mana requires an extremely dense concentration of mana, causing it to solidify and become tangible

"She lost control?" Alex saw blood flowing down Kanon's eyes as he looked at Kensei.

"What's going on?!" La Folia yelled at Kensei.

"I don't know"

"She shouldn't have reached the stage of assumption yet" Kensei narrowed his eyes at Kanon as he turned around as he didn't want to get caught by her rampage.

Observing the girls struggling to defend against the mana storm, Alex called out to Sayaka.

"Sayaka! Get La Folia, come here Kiriha" Sayaka and Kiriha nodded as both started to move.

Soon, all of them gathered together as Kiriha erected a barrier using her Richel Carle, providing them with protection against the raging mana storm. Alex then reinforced the barrier with his own mana, fortifying their defense from the mana storm.

"That's a strong mana storm out there" Alex peered outside the barrier, noticing the mana crystal beginning to coat its surface, obstructing their view. Gradually, the barrier became enveloped by the crystallized mana, heightening the sense of urgency and the need for a swift resolution to the unfolding crisis.

"What do we do now?" Kiriha looked at the others.

"We'll wait for the storm to pass, I have a feeling Kanon will get tired soon" Alex got approval from the girls.

"Can you save her Alex..." Alex looked at La Folia who was looking at him with expectations.

"Can't say, worst case, she'll explode or she'll become what Kensei had planned for her to become in the beginning" Alex looked at her as he crossed his arms.

"A god isn't it?" Sayaka looked at Alex who shrugged.

"No idea, I haven't seen a god" Alex summoned a miniature version of his 2nd familiar, Cor Tauri-Sucinum, which emitted warmth. He placed it in the center beside Kiriha's Richel Carle, utilizing its warmth to counteract the encroaching cold of the mana storm.

"... Alex, can I ask you something?" Alex looked at Sayaka who was looking at him weirdly.

"Sure? What's wrong?" Alex looked at Sayaka with a confused look.

"Are you perhaps... Holding back?" As Sayaka said this, the other girls also looked at Alex waiting for his answer.

"Of course I am" Alex looked at La Folia and Kiriha's stunned face.

"Eh?" La Folia let out a cute confused voice.

"What? Do you think I'm giving my all? That's not even half my strength you know"

"B-But I thought you were giving your all!" La Folia looked at Alex unable to comprehend the amount of power he wields.

"There's a reason why they called the 4th progenitor the strongest vampire" Alex looked at them with a smile

"I also don't want to accidentally kill your aunt after all"

"Are you sure that's all Alex?" Sayaka narrowed her eyes on him.

"I also want more data on angels" Alex shrugs with a smile at them causing Sayaka to facepalm as Kiriha and La Folia couldn't believe what they heard about.
