Gazing at the fleeing Kraken, Old Hegma swung the Trident in his hand.

There were three pits on the Trident, two empty, and only the Sapphire that was set in the middle lit up with a dim luminescence. In a flash, countless volumes of seawater surged from all directions, the towering waves pressing against the enormous body of the Kraken.

Faced with such an onslaught, the Kraken had no thought of fighting back. It ejected jets of poisonous ink, severing the tentacles caught in the current, attempting to make a forced escape.

But Old Hegma did not give it that chance. He swung the Trident once more, and an even more terrifying water pressure struck. The Kraken let out an angry roar, a tentacle piercing straight into its brain, tearing off a chunk of rock that was like a lava ball, then its body suddenly stiffened, and its eyes closed, as if it had died, so quiet and still.
