Kapitel 18: crushing defeat of Hades
Looking at the opponent that appareared on battlefield, he frowned. Is this Zeus orders or hades himself wanted to come here. Intrigued, he smiled a little and used gates of Babylon on full force. Many Olympians died while the gods that are sent are pushed back.
Hades came forward defending himself in a shield of death energy. The swords failed to break through as Ashborn's strength and mana is still lacking but it managed to form cracks on the shield while Hades also felt pressure.
Ashborn didn't wait for long. He took out the ea sword, chanting the words," heavens and earth split, nothingness congratulated the creation, my sword splits the whole world, enuma elish", the rings started spinning frantically while Hades felt sense of crisis.
If that power were to hit him, he'll definitely die. Though he can ressurect in tartarus his strength will be dropped by a major limit and it will take centuries to recover even from the loss. Not to mention titans and primordials aren't that satisfied with Olympians and some are holding a grudge.
He immediately used his power to open a portal and jump into it while the beam hit the army and made them vanish into smitherines, ashborn felt the presence of Hades and frowned.
He side stepped while a scythe nearly hit him. But he defended himself with each sword and used its energy to blast Hades away. Hades felt that weapon can kill him if this drags down. So he activated the scythe special power.
It can devour souls and can provide him with a boost on his attack. Ashborn placed the sword into his gates of Babylon and took out the scythe too. But he first used unlimited blade works in combination with gates of Babylon and chains of heaven.
Hades who is rushing felt something wrong and few chains binded him while he felt his divine energy is suppressed. Not only that when he looked up he saw a scythe more horrifying than his descending on him.
His soul screamed him to get away but all his powers are suppressed. He used many of the souls he is carrying to defend himself while the scythe descended and it cut through all souls, but Hades is unhurt. The souls screamed and are absorbed by the scythe.
Before Hades can react another attack came to him. This time he didn't hesitate and blew up the souls on him. Getting out of the chains he made a run for it not caring about his scythe and invisiblility helmet.
Ashborn looked at Hades amused, he didn't expect this guy to have something like this. Looking back he saw the 4 gods looking at this blankly. Ashborn smirked but he didn't use the gates of Babylon instead he wanted to play them a little.
He activated his divinities, his sword is coated with his death, fire, winter, shadows and light divinity. He rushed forward with incredible speed while the 4 gods looked bewildered. Artemis instantly launched her arrows at him while an arrow rain appeared from the sky.
Ashborn didn't take it much as he used the gates of Babylon to store all her arrows away. Looking at the ramapaging god, the 4 gods immediately thought of a strategy to escape. Ares used all the energy he gained through the war and wanted to hold ashborn there while the 3 of them escapes.
Apollo also launched his light and sun divinity, Hermes used his speed but it's ineffective against ashborn so he used his staff he is holding and called a massive snake. But it also is slain like butter.
Frustrated the 4 of them combined their powers and immediately teleported away to olympus, the 4 of them took a deep breath looking at Hades who is also appeared a little dazed at this moment along with other Olympian gods.
Zeus is looking at the projection fi the war and frowned turning yo Hades he asked," is this the extent of your strength brother? A toddler can beat you now, you also lost your treasures, the helmet of darkness and invisiblility and the scythe".
Hades looked at him and said," that sword isn't something I can take on. It has the power level to split the whole olympus as he chanted".
