Kapitel 81: Hunter Exam
After everything was over, Theo returned to his universe, feeling as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He was secretly proud that Cha Yeon-woo had married him and found himself smiling. Theo opened the system and checked it, shocked by what he saw.
[keyaru: hahahahhahhah, that fucking bitch, that damn whore came to get me. Everything is going to change now.]
[subaru: Yes, friends, Keyaru has lost his mind. Everyone good luck.]
[Kim Dokja: I admire your thirst for revenge, Keyaru. You're just like me.]
[keyaru: Dokja, you can never be like me. You're just a loser who wants to be a hero, but I'm someone deceived by the promise of becoming a hero and then suffering.]
[Kim Dokja: ...]
[Kurapika: Anyway, Keyaru, good luck. I hope you do your best. I'm currently in the Hunter Exam, and it's possible to say I've met good people. We're running right now.]
[Theo: Really?]
[Kurapika: Here's a photo for you.]
[Theo: Got it. I'm coming there, wait for me.]
Theo pulled himself in and instantly materialized at the location, appearing behind Kurapika. Kurapika, of course, didn't notice; Theo had taken someone else's badge, or rather, altered causality to present himself as someone who was already registered for the exam.
Theo then suddenly appeared in front of the running Kurapika. Kurapika's eyes widened.
Kurapika: I can't believe you came.
Gon looked at the man and smelled the scent of blood and iron, which was more of a mark on Theo's existence. Gon knew that if there was one thing, the person in front of him was dangerous.
Killua, meanwhile, tried to sense something from Theo. As an assassin, he had always been able to sense his targets, but for the first time, he couldn't sense the presence of the person in front of him. It was as if the man didn't exist.
Suddenly, Killua made a claw with his hand and was about to attack Theo from behind, but Theo turned his head around and released a bit of Zetsu. Everyone felt as if they were about to die; even Illumi nearly killed himself to escape the aura.
Killua collapsed.
Theo placed him on his back and continued running.
Kurapika: Isn't this too much? The kid collapsed.
Theo: No, on the contrary. My aura was only 0.0001, and the kid collapsed. I was holding back.
Kurapika: So your power has no limit, it seems.
Theo: Of course not. Who do you think I am? I'm the Crimson King.
Kurapika: Anyway, what do you think will happen to Keyaru?
Theo: Hmm, I don't know, but he's ready to do anything for his plan.
Theo knew that Keyaru would likely be subjected to rape. He also suspected that Keyaru knew this but didn't want to mention it. Theo decided to exercise his right to remain silent.
Messages started coming in again, indicating that Kurapika had informed others of Theo's presence.
[Esdeath: Damn it, you filthy man. Why aren't you coming to me?]
[Kim Dokja: I don't need help right now. I don't hesitate to ask for help when I need it.]
[Keyaru: Actually, I have a request, Theo.]
[Theo: Let's hear it. What do you want?]
[Keyaru: I want a skill that will increase pain, and in return, I'll give you all my points.]
[Theo: Hahahahahha, as expected from you. Don't let yourself be easily defeated, or I'll make you regret it.]
[Subaru: I hate my life.]
[Theo gifted Keyaru the A++ skill pain master.]
[Keyaru's total points: 0]
Kurapika and Theo reached the end of the tunnel and arrived at the second stage of the exam. Killua had already woken up.
