Kapitel 44: On the Roof

"That won't hold them long," Kia panted, glancing around the hallway for another escape route.

Logan agreed with a nod. They needed to get to the roof. Turning around, they moved quickly down the hallway. The flashlight started to flicker as the batteries began to wear down. The door crashed open; the zombies were back on their trail.

They reached the roof, slamming the door shut behind them. For a moment, they were safe, but the door wouldn't hold for long. Logan scanned the area and spotted a fire escape on the far side. "We need to get down there," he said, pointing.

As they made their way toward the fire escape, the door burst open, and zombies poured onto the roof. Now they were completely surrounded.
