Kapitel 33: chapter 33 large gains
Time went by and all I did was nurture my aperture and hunt pirates. Those who surrendered were given fair punishments and a second chance at life after serving their time as a slave. Capturing pirates and giving them second chances gave me loads of good karma.
I was able to further refine it to rank 4, and just like drain blood gu it'll need alot more to further refine it. Well all good things come with time, just like my cultivation. I was able to reach middle stage and with steep tea gu I now have access to rank 3 upper stage primeval sea essence.
As I was rejoicing in my achievement Dao Devourer activated and started to protect me from something. Hhmmmmm my serpents didn't alert me of any nearby presence, after activating aurora scent gu I confirmed that nothing nearby was attacking me.
Looks like I already have someone trying to deduce info on me using either wisdom or information path methods but it's only mortal methods. An immortal method would have easily bypassed Dao Devourer even a strong killer move would have been a pain to deal with. If that happens I would have to refill my primeval sea essence constantly in order to deal with a strong information or wisdom path killer move.
It was bound to happen I've probably already got the attention of a few clans and merchant caravans who are interested in me. For what reasons who knows all I know is that I want no part of it. Well I was debating on when to claim my first blessed land that would be useful for my goals. I'll take this as a sign from the heavens that I should go get one now.
I set sail for the Stagnant Sea, a sea so still that if you see movement then its most likely a beast lurking around, but nothing really lives there. That's why no one sets sail there as theirs nothing to gain there, and that's exactly what the immortal who passed away wanted
That sea area also lacks heaven and earth qi making any tribulations weaker for the blessed land. Though just like most blessed land spirits it eventually wanted an owner to help it. When it did the nearest clan immediately stopped anyone from trying to claim it, but they were unable to complete the requirements.
By then I had already become a famous food path immortal. In exchange for lowering their immortal gu food requirements they let my try to earn the blessed land, and just like they thought I was able to succeed. I was then bound to their territory and had lots of beneficial transactions with them.
Days went by as I sailed to Stagnant Sea, I knew I was there when my ship stopped moving. I had to tie some rope to my deep sea serpent and a few others to pull it further. We sailed for a few hours till I arrived to where the blessed land is at. From my aperture I brought out a green and white dragon fly.
This was a rank 4 information path gu called direct message. It can hold a small message and fly to the person it was meant for. I got it from a merchant caravan in exhange for some pirate prisoners and all of their gu. Normally this gu couldn't reach the blessed land spirit but I know the exact location of it. All the blessed land spirit would have to do is accept it into the blessed land.
The gu flew off and waited where I intended it to be for a few minutes, but not long after it disappeared. Now to wait for his reply, after 15 minutes a large beautiful mask appeared from the sky. It opened up from the mouth and a grand stair case came out. I anchored my ship and then my marionette brought out a tied up pirate. This man is wanted but only dead, he killed a young clansmen from a large clan. Who happened to have a relative with a high position so he changed his wanted poster to wanted only dead. I couldn't sell him as a slave so I kept him knowing he would eventually come in handy. I then climbed the stair case with my marionette carrying the tied up pirate.
Before I could even look around the blessed land my body became unresponsive to my demands. I had to make sure Dao Devourer didn't activate on it's own otherwise it would get destroyed.
???[ HOW? How did you find my blessed land? And how did you learn of my condition for becoming my master?]
A normal sized blank mask asked inches away from my face.
Crim[ a capable man has his ways but don't you want the solution for your immortal gu?]
This mask was none other than the land spirit of this blessed land.
Mask spirit[ and how could a mortal like you solve the issue with my gu when even my passed self couldn't?]
Crim[ because Unlike you two I'm a food path gu master. Release me and I can prove my self and tell you whats wrong with your gu.]
Masked spirit[ alright but if you are unable to solve the issue with my gu. I will search your thoughts all I want and you'll never be allowed to leave here.]
Crim[ deal ]
After agreeing I regained control of my self. I raised my shirt and both small appetite and large appetite came out from my stomach.
Crim[ these two gu are food path gu and their food is similar to that of your immortal gu. You see all gu eat some type of dao these gu feed on the dao that is created by what type of hunger I have.]
Masked spirit[ what do they have to do with my gu?]
Crim[ let me simplify it so you'll understand. All gu eat dao marks but depending on its rank and type the dao marks vary. That's why gu eat different types of materials and when gu rank up the amount of dao marks they need increase thats why their appetite grows with its rank. You never knew the true food for your gu that's why you were never able to satisfy it.]
The land spirit heard my words and frowned.
Masked spirit[ tell me what you believe it eats then and from there I'll see if I can truly believe you.]
Crim[ I pity your passed self, you went by the name masked immortal. You were a righteous path wisdom gu master your whole life. One of your key gu was masked emotion gu, a gu that you thought It only ate the emotions of evil people.
You feed it by capturing demonic gu master's and forced them to wear it thereby feeding it. You loved the gu since it was so easy to feed, so once you became a immortal you chose to refine it into a immortal gu when you finally had the resources. Thinking it would save you alot of trouble thanks to its easy food requirements. Only for it to do the unthinkable, once it needed to be feed you placed it on a demonic gu master and it killed him.
You thought maybe it need to be placed on a immortal level gu master and then got help to try out your guess only for that person to die too.]
As I continued speaking the masked spirit began crying. Masked immortal was a true righteous path cultivator. He lived by his morals and didn't want to harm anyone, even if he killed demonic scum it still hurt his conscience.
As time went by he stopped trying to find ways to extend his life, only trying to find a way to feed his gu but he never did succeed. Once he was near death he had a trusted friend seal his immortal gu as he then went to Stagnant Sea to place his blessed land and pass away in peace. So of course his land spirits requirement would be to solve the food issue of his gu. Even his land spirit has his righteousness persona. It never harmed me and it never had the intention to either. It said it would read my thoughts but it never said it would harm me as for me never leaving it meant that I would have to live the rest of my natural life in this blessed land.
Crim[ don't worry I know what your gu really eats. It never feed on the emotion of a evil person, no it ate dark thoughts thats why evil people were best to feed it as they naturally have dark thoughts in a abundance.]
Masked spirit[ dark thoughts?]
Crim[ that's right, when you were ranking it up you had to place it on multiple demonic gu master's to feed it but once the gu reached the immortal rank its demand for dark thoughts skyrocketed. So when you placed it on a demonic gu master it took so much you made them go brain dead.]
Masked spirit[ so to feed masked emotion gu all I have to do is feed it a large amount of dark thoughts?]
I handed it a small note book
Masked spirit[ this is?]
Crim[ its the recipes for dark thoughts gu. All the way to rank 4, refine it and then have this guy use it to feed masked emotion gu.]
It picked me up along with the pirate and took me to a log cabin inside of a forest. It gave me cookies and a cup of hot tea and told me to wait as it went to refine the gu.

It took the land spirit a week to refine dark thoughts gu to rank 4. When it finally did it came back to the log cabin. It picked up the pirate and woke him up from the deep sleep I had put him in to stop him from causing any trouble. He gave him dark thoughts gu and several other gu that held extra primeval sea essence.
Pirate[ what..... what happened?]
Crim[ rise and shine princess.]
Pirate[ YOU... bastard let me go!]
As he spoke the masked spirit brought out a green sphere of ice and he began to melt it down.
Pirate[ what is that? where the hell am I?]
Crim[ oh were in a blessed land and this is the land spirit of an immortal, but enough about that in your aperture theirs a gu that looks like a black butterfly. Don't stop using it and all the other gu have extra primeval sea essence. Oh and if you do stop using it you'll die.]
Masked spirit[ I'd do as he said]
The green sphere of ice melted all away leaving only a plain white mask. The land spirit then placed it on the pirate. He started screaming but soon I felt him activating the gu given to him and his screams quieted down, but he didn't stop using the gu. The seconds passed into minutes and after half a hour the mask popped off his face which was now a light grey with almost lifeless eyes.
Masked spirit[ it... IT Worked!!!]
Crim[ yup he would have gotten off easier but after being sealed for so long masked emotion gu was very hungry.]
The masked spirit tilted down towards me.
Masked spirit[ thank you..... master.]
