Blood Weave & Fate
'It's time'.
Isaac thought .
Cassia had already had her vision.
But just like in the novel everyone forgot in only a few seconds.
'Creepy'.
He naturally could not forget, but there was another problem.
'The damn tree is making my mind foggy'.
Isaac's annoyance grew every second.
He wanted nothing more than to watch this tree burn.
'Screw this let's just end it'.
With that Isaac moved towards a black haired boy.
"Hey cutie common I wanna show you something".
Sunny's head snapped towards him.
"God dammit stop calling me that".
Sunny screeched at the top of his lungs.
"Ok cutie common".
Isaac had already begun to clime the tree ignoring the fuming Sunny.
Climbing high enough he entered a small nest that had an onyx egg.
An egg containing a terrifying creature.
All that strength yet still died before coming out the egg.
Isaac waited patiently for Sunny to fully climb up to the nest.
"What do you want".
Sunny asked, he still seemed annoyed.
Isaac ignored his attitude.
"Break the egg".
Sunny gave him a weird look.
"Why".
Sunny asked a bit skeptical.
Isaac then answered indifferently.
"Cause".
Isaac then shrugged.
This only heightened his skepticism.
Isaac became slightly annoyed.
He would normally want to explain the benefits of breaking the Vile Thieving Birds egg.
But due to the influence of the soul devouring tree, his mind was in a constant state of fuzziness.
And this led to his current annoyance.
Without a second thought Isaac summoned his sword memory.
Sunny suddenly grew alert at the sudden appearance of the sparks indicating a memory.
But...
Even if he could flea, Isaac grabbed him as he now had the power of a Dormant Demon.
Sunny on the other hand, did not even have the strength above that of a normal human.
And as such Isaac grabbed his arm and pulled him forward towards the egg.
Sunny on the other hand, pitifully resisted, even trying to summon a memory.
Which Isaac quickly swatted away with his enhanced physique.
Sunny then tried to throw a punch at him.
Of course, even if it landed, the damage it would do was almost nonexistent.
"Tsk".
Isaacs annoyance has already grown to a new level.
Without a second thought, he wrapped his hands around sunny and forcibly pulled him towards his chest.
"Stop resisting dammit".
Isaac then began to drag Sunny towards the egg.
"Let go".
Sunny screamed.
Isaac finally forced Sunny to break the egg.
And with that let Sunny go.
"Hey Isaac what the hell m-".
Sunny was interrupted when he heard the voice of the Spell ring out in his mind.
[You have slain a Great Devil]
[Your shadow grows stronger]
Sunny stood there is shock.
That egg was a Great Devil.
But unbeknownst to Sunny his luck was not over yet.
[You have received a memory.]
In this moment Sunny did not know whether to smack or kiss the handsome bastard.
"Tsk, so you got something".
Isaac spoke.
His voice was annoyed.
Sunny was bit taken aback.
"Check the memory damn it".
Sunny was even more suppressed.
How did Isaac know it was a memory it could have been an echo for all he knew.
Sunny opened his mouth wanting to ask but immediately stopped.
Isaac's expression was both annoyed and confused with a hint of clarity.
Is he ok?
Not wanting to annoy Isaac any more he pulled up his runes.
His gaze then landed on his memory's.
There was a new one.
God damn it.
Isaac was currently looking at Sunny as he stared at his runes with a complicated expression.
Yet Isaac as well had on a complex expression.
Well the reason was because he had gained a new attribute.
After Sunny broke the egg and received his memory Isaac had noticed the vile birds spawns beak was handing out of its egg.
And on the edge of that beak was a small golden liquid.
Wanting to confirm his finding he picked up the small golden liquid on the edge of his finger.
He then looked closely at the liquid.
So this is Weavers blood I wonder if I could gain blood weave.
Isaac chuckled self-depreciatingly.
The drop was too small so he doubted it.
Then unexpectedly the small drop shot from his finger and entered his eye and through his eye it emerged with his soul.
Isaac was in a state of shock.
The fu-
Before he could finish his thought a burning sensation filled his mind, body and soul.
Shit don't tell me.
But then unexpectedly the sensation fizzled out as soon as it started confusing Isaac.
I guess the drop was too small.
Then as if wanting to prove him false he heard the Spell whisper in his ear.
[You have gained a new attribute]
HEY!! Why do you sound disappointed.
Yet unbeknownst to Isaac this wasn't the only boon he abandoned.
[You have gained a new attribute]
TWO!!!.
With that he checked his runes.
Attributes: [Fateless], [Dreamspawn], [Fate], [Mark of Sanctity].
Fate Attribute Description: [The threads of fate that once could not find you finally caught a glimpse of your visage, and with that fate had been ensnared.]
Mark of Sanctity Attribute Description: [You bare a faint scent of sanctity, as though someone briefly touched by it once, a long time ago.]
What the hell!!!
What are these description's.
[Mark of Sanctity] sort of makes sense as Weaver was a daemon a part Holy and part Unholy creature.
Still...
[Fate] was something he had never seen in the novel.
And what does it mean by fate got ensnared, how could fate become ensnared, what had it been ensnared by...
Isaac's mind was in a strange and jumbled state.
Let's get the obvious answers out the way.
As the attribute is related to me it's seems I was the mysterious visage that the threads of fate saw.
That also means I was the one who ensnared it as well...
Of course the reason the strings of fate could not see him was obvious.
He was [Fateless].
