"Living expenses?" repeated Yi Qin in astonishment and disbelief. "You are giving me allowance money now?"

"You can say that," replied Liu Xinyu as she nodded to herself. "I'm technically older than you."

"How?"

"Although we both are 23 this year, my birthday comes in March while yours is in April. What does that mean? I'm your Jiejie. Come on, call me, Jiejie!" Liu Xinyu felt pleased with her own explanation of how she managed to twist up the facts so logically. If they didn't consider the year of her birth, then she was currently older than her own father. "My dear Didi(little brother), don't you want some allowance? How about you call me Jie first?" 

"Only you can come up with something like this," commented Yiyi as she laughed at Liu Xinyu's antics.

"It doesn't feel right," was Yi Qin's response. "Besides, I don't want an allowance from you. It feels weird for some reason."
