Kapitel 312: SITH MOUNTAIN'S CALL

I woke with a start, my heart hammering in my chest, the darkness around me unfamiliar and suffocating. It took me a moment to realize where I was—home, in our bed, the faint outlines of the furniture barely visible in the thin sliver of moonlight that filtered through the curtains.

My breath came in shallow, uneven gasps as I tried to shake off the feeling that had gripped me so suddenly. It was like waking from a nightmare—except there had been no dream, no images, no sounds. Just a sense of urgency, of something pulling at me from the depths of my mind.

I sat up, rubbing a hand over my face, trying to calm the erratic beat of my heart. Next to me, Emmet shifted in his sleep, his arm reaching out instinctively toward me, seeking the comfort of my presence even in unconsciousness. I touched his hand lightly, but it did little to ease the strange sensation that still thrummed beneath my skin.
