Eddison was amused by her reaction, and he asked, "What are you so nervous about?"
"I'm nervous for you, not me. What if she finds out you are in my room?" Caroline asked, "Why don't you hide in the washroom first?"
Eddison pinched her cheeks. How could she even come up with that!
He shook his head and chuckled. Then, he lifted the quilt and got out of bed.
The doorbell was still ringing. Vanessa should be waiting outside. Caroline hid herself under the quilt, only showing her head.
Eddison, who was in his pajamas, had already approached the door and he then opened it.
"Mom, it's getting so late already. Why are you still awake?" Eddison asked.
"Son, why are you here? What did I tell you last night? You and Miss Simons have to sleep in separate rooms to avoid hurting the baby!" Vanessa exclaimed.
