Caroline went straight back to her office and closed the door.

After a while, there was a knock on her door.

"Come in," she said. 

Karen carried a document in her hand and walked into Caroline's office, clicking her high heels as she did. 

Caroline looked up at her for a moment, then continued with her work, as if she was completely unaffected by her presence.

"Miss Simons, you were on break for a very long while, and I think that as part of the planning department, I should update you about the current situation," Karen said.

"Sure, go ahead." Caroline continued typing on her keyboard, and did not stop what she was doing to focus on Karen's speech.

Karen wasn't angered. She began to speak with a mischievous smile, "While you were away, the brands Peachy and Cloud Muse have been doing very well."

"I know that. Since you've provided them with an opportunity to get into the market, they would be stupid to not take the chance and grow their brands. Don't you think so?"
