"Why aren't you speaking? Have you been moved to tears?" Eddison's playful voice sounded once more. 

"This is quite a flurry of firecrackers! They must be of good quality. They've been going off for quite a long while now. Which relative has come?" George asked, excited.

He took a couple of steps forward towards the house's entrance only to see Caroline still standing by the door; she was still on his phone. 

Annoyed, he snatched the phone from her hand and scolded, "Caroline, we have important guests arriving! I'll have to go out and greet them now. As Freddrick's sister, you can't leave before then. We have to talk to you later about buying a house for Freddrick. You'll have to leave us the money for it before you go."

In the midst of everything, it slipped their mind to talk to Caroline about this matter.
