Kapitel 88: Chapter 88 A Kiss as Punishment

"Good-looking?!" Caroline thought in disbelief. If she wasn't mistaken, the driver who came with Tyler was in his forties at least.

She could not believe this woman had the nerve to suggest something like that to her.

"Thank you for your kindness, Aunt Mandy. Since you think Mr. Long's driver is so good-looking, why don't you try making him your son-in-law? Your daughter Janet is twenty years old this year, isn't she? Twenty's the legal age for marriage after all," Caroline suggested with a smile on her face.

"Caroline, how can you say something like that? I was only suggesting it for your own good. Gosh, Mr. Long's driver and I are about the same age! How can he possibly be my son-in-law? Don't be so absurd!" Mandy scoffed. 

"Oh, so you're aware that Mr. Long's driver is your age, are you? You do realize that Janet is not much younger than me, right? If he's right for me as you just suggested, then how could he not be for Janet?" Caroline retorted.
