Before she could say anything, he took the lead and started complaining, "This chair is quite hard and uncomfortable. I'll have someone change a new one for you tomorrow."

Caroline was rendered speechless. Why did he make it look like this was his company? 

Eddison looked down at the time on his watch. He got up slowly and asked, "It's 6:13 pm now. Your company's working hour is until 6. Are you working overtime today?" 

"It's normal to work overtime once in a while," Caroline shrugged. For some reason, she had a bad feeling about what he was going to say. 

Eddison raised an eyebrow at her. Then, he declared, "I'll ask my assistant to call your boss tomorrow. You're not allowed to work overtime, not even for one extra minute."

Caroline rolled her eyes at him and said, "I volunteered to work overtime. Sometimes, it just takes a little more time to finish whatever I need to do. I'm used to finishing my work before getting off work."
