Kapitel 144: 144: The assistant

"They're all dead. W-What did you do? Why did you do that?"

The smell of blood was thick in the air, and it penetrated the air around Dimitry. His limbs felt numb, and his eyes had free-flowing tears going down.

He was terrified of what was happening and what the princess had done. 

But, despite his trembling and his fear, the boy decided to be brave and ask the princess why she killed off all his family.

Empty blue eyes looked back at Dimitry from a young face. But the blood made the picture go from beautiful to haunting.

"Traitors deserve to die. I just carried out my duty. Are you a traitor as well? Your name was not on the list I got."

The princess asked. Dimitry wanted to shout that he was also a traitor. He was a part of the family the princess had just killed.

But no matter how much he tried, his mouth would not move.
