Bel sat in a garden with the smell of flowers surrounding her. The shade she sat underneath was a beautifully constructed wooden work covered with vines, which shielded her from Sol's light while allowing enough light to pass through the spaces in the vines. Similar shades were scattered all around the garden.
She couldn't believe she had spent all day in the village. Actually, she could, as this had been done on purpose to piss a certain person off, and she intended to remain here as long as she possibly could.
However, her plan didn't seem to be working, and she had completely run out of things to do here. Her tour was complete, and Vanessa had refused to let her heal a single person. Forget the Queen's favor—even the people here didn't want her help. She couldn't help but wonder if Davien also had something to do with this.
"What do you think of the village?" Vanessa asked as she sat next to her.
