Kapitel 4: Chapter 4, Glory to Superman!

"Haha!" A deep and menacing voice sounded throughout the middle of Manhattan.

The caped boy himself levitating off of Avenger's Tower in response.

"Hey Supes, if it really is another one of the big green guys, then you'll need some back up." Tony announced, the one and only Iron Man appearing alongside the floating alien.

"We still can't assume Banner's strength, so it's safe to say this guy should be on the same level." Stark said, tapping the side of his helmet.

He zoomed his sight in on the tall lanky beast that stood on the streets of New York.

It was obvious just from a glance that this variant was taller than Hulk, and slimmer.

"Watch out, it's safe to assume this one is quicker than our Hulk." Stark added, Superman not really heading many of his words.

Kent only leant forward, flying towards the tall green skinned one below them.

"What is your name." Clark asked, folding his arms.

"Why should I, answer your questions? Kal-El." The beast below replied, Superman's gaze noticeably hardening.

"What's up with people calling you that Supes? Is that a universal code name or some bullshit?" Stark quipped with a laugh, raising a palm.

"Let's just get this over with, we can ask questions later." With a charge, an energy blast shot from Stark's hand, travelling towards their opponent and exploding.

"Not nearly enough power behind that shot, Stark." They heard Hulk's voice, Stark being completely taken aback when the next thing he saw was green flying towards him.

*BOOM*

A human fist sent the beast a few meters away, Tony only able to watch in horror as it twisted in the air, kicking off of space and flying towards Superman.

"Head in the game Stark." Superman spoke, throwing out another punch towards the oncoming missile.

Unfortunately, this one missed.

The oncoming demon swiftly weaved, throwing a punch of his own.

It was instant, and almost unnoticeable, but to Tony who had his hearing amplified by the suit, he was able to pick up on it.

There was a crunch.

One way or another, something had broken on that impact, and Tony prayed to god it was the Hulk's fist, and not Supes' nose.

Superman was known worldwide as the Man of Steel, the indestructible.

Even to this day, Superman's few known weakness were magic and Kryptonite.

Yet clearly, this hulk had neither of those…

That could only mean one thing…

"Kek!" Stark heard a scoff, snapping out of his inner turmoil and watching and Superman flew past him, straight into, and through, an entire building.

Tony hadn't even had time the chance to truly step off Avenger Tower's balcony.

Superman had taken the initiative to engage in combat with their foe, and it was obvious maybe he shouldn't have.

Tony's vision zoomed in, barely able to analyze the battle due to the speed at which they were moving.

But he saw it.

A crazed smile on the green beasts face, and a blood leaking from Superman's nose.

"Calling all Avengers."

*BOOM*

Superman threw a punch at my chest, the weight of his fist sending me flying into the ground.

It filled me with joy, ecstasy, love, you name it. I could feel myself grow stronger with my emotions, my body becoming more durable, my strength tripling.

It seemed my potential was connected to emotion like the Hulk, but not specifically rage.

I grew with any increase in emotion, and it was truly empowering.

"Good punch Kal-El!" I taunted, flexing my eyes and firing two green rays of heat from them. I was getting in Superman's head.

He did not enjoy being called his name it seemed, especially by a big lug of meat who he assumed wasn't very intelligent.

The alien decided to take the brunt of the impact, presumably a power play, but he would come to regret that.

My heat rays singed his suit, burning through it and leaving a deep burn on the Man of Steels shoulder.

"Ouch!" He flinched in surprise, a look of disbelief on his face. In that same moment, it seemed he noticed the blood leaking from his face, as his hand slowly moved upwards, wiping the blood and looking at it for a moment.

At the same time, his other hand raised to his ear, clicking the small piece of technology.

"Calling all available Leaguers to Midtown Manhattan, I am hurt." Hearing his words, a large smile perked up on my face.

Was he sane?

Well you can't blame him after all... He wouldn't know that he was calling a feast for me...

Just thinking about it filled me with ecstasy.

The possibilities, the things I could do with the Flash's speed, or the Martian Manhunters psychic abilities...

"HAHA, GLORY TO YOU SUPERMAN!" I laughed, flying towards the man that was still stunned by the obvious damage to his body.

He didn't have the time to fully avoid my strike, and even just a graze was enough for me.

My fist collided with his shoulder, his face scrunching up in pain as I watched him fly straight into a building, collapsing it straight in the process.

I followed my attack, colliding with Clark and beating him further into the ground.

"I'm sure the Bat keeps track of your vitals." I spoke, sitting on top of the stunned man.

*BOOM*

I struck.

"He'll be here any moment."

*BOOM*

I struck once more, my fists picking up their pace.

One after another, I punched, raining hell on Superman himself.

Was I messed up for this?

Maybe.

But did I care?

Not in the slightest.

Spending my days as a child reading the comics, I couldn't help but pray for the chance to knock some sense into the Justice League.

Their, "No killing" rule had rendered the lives of many obsolete. Now that I was presented with the chance, I would deliver Justice to the Leaguers.

Maybe this way they would adopt some new rules.

I didn't plan on killing the man, I just knew how to make use of him until my targets arrived.

I could practically feel him approaching with my new Kryptonian senses.

And, there he was.

With my perception granted by my mutated Kryptonian blood, and my natural ability to sense the special, I was able to alter my fist before I struck Superman one last time.

I threw out a palm, grasping at space before it was changed, and thankfully I had perfect timing.

Within my grasp appeared a leg, and I swiftly glanced to my left.

Superman had been flung to the other side of the room, and Barry Allen himself was within my grasp, his leg under my control, and a pure look of astonishment on his face.

The young speedster had attempted to rescue Clark before my strike, but in the end, I grabbed him, stopping his momentum and sending Clark whom he had picked up, flying into the far wall of the apartment room we were in.

"AHAHA OH MY GOD!" I exclaimed, my brain nearly melting away.

Looking and feeling the creature beneath me, I could see the power he held, and I could understand it.

The speed force was a powerful thing, and I would steal his speed, and connection to the speed force for myself.

I felt electricity shoot through my body as my hands glowed a bright green, energy beyond my greatest imagination coursing through my veins.

My perception of time slowed, my head twisting and turning as I felt time almost stop.

I stood up, releasing the Flash from my grasps and glancing at his bewildered expression for only a moment.

I walked towards Superman, watching as his left eye slowly tracked me, his hand still holding his ribs.

His face was bloodied, and one of his eyes wouldn't open.

I smiled, the power trip subsiding, as I was finally able to think clearly.

"Wow. Well I've acquired what I mainly wanted. But it wouldn't hurt to assimilate Martian Manhunters abilities, or even Spiderman's." I muttered, grabbing Superman by the neck, and dragging him towards Barry, whom I also grabbed.

Maybe Barry would be able to reestablish a connection with the Speed Force on his own, but I wouldn't count on it.

With those last thoughts, I ran, I carried the two, and brought them to the center of a site of rubble.

The building was no more, and it was just a big open area.

I sat down, dropping the Flash next to me, and giving Superman a snoozer, striking him once and knocking him out cold.

"H-Holy shit." Barry muttered, jumping to his feet and instantly trying to attack me.

But, he was taken aback.

"W-Why aren't I-"

"Going fast? Thank you for that one my friend."I said, waving my hand at incredible speed, watching as it moved with green electricity spewing from my arm.

"But don't worry. You can get it back if you try hard enough. Maybe get struck by lightning again, I'm sure there's someone you can ask for help with that one." I smiled, watching as Barry stumbled back with horror.

"Ah ah ah! Don't try to escape just yet! I'm waiting for at least one more of interest to show up." I said, lifting a hand and halting the man's movements.

Alongside having developed Tactile Telekinesis, and even a seriously lesser version of Mind Control from the Kryptonian blood, my mutated Telekinetic powers received a large boost.

Now, relatively speaking, I had full fledged Telekinesis, letting me control others and even myself with will.

With all the powers I now had, I was effectively immortal, and nearly unstoppable.

If I could just acquire some more abilities that would be useful, like psychic abilities, or perhaps teleportation, then I would be cleared to start formulating goals.

I didn't have much of an idea as to what I wanted to do with all this power, but I could safely assume that dangerous entities like Darkseid and Thanos may be invading the world, so it would be fun to assimilate their powers and possibly collect the Infinity Stones.

I am not an evil person, I just felt it was worth it to have some fun while acquiring powers.

I kept the casualties to a minimum, in fact, the only casualties being a result of Superman's uncontrolled attacks.

"Do better Supes... If I was able to control my casualties in my first real big fight, you can do it too..."

...

...

...

He could swear he had just watched Superman swat the creature like a fly, so how in the world was the Man of Steel himself in a pit, bloodied beyond recognition?

Someone next to him stirred, and Tony watched as Bruce awoke, crawling to his feet and scratching his head.

"Tony?" Bruce mumbled, walking to the edge of the helipad and peering down below alongside him. He had stood perched on the Avenger's Tower, choosing not to engage in the battle, and rather examine.

After all, if Superman was getting beaten to a pulp, he would most likely succumb to death's cold embrace after one strike.

"Morning Bruce!" Tony said, upbeat, waving at the sluggish man.

"Wh-W-Hey! That's the... The guy from last night!" Hearing this Tony's ears perked up.

"What do you mean?"
