Honestly, I think I could become addicted to evolution because every time it finishes, I feel like I've woken up from the most amazing sleep of my life, a feeling made even better as I observe my changed status, noting that my species has transformed from a normal skeleton to that of a warrior skeleton.
'Let's see what this bag of bones can do.' With that thought, I stood up from the makeshift bed in my shack and walked to the door, which had light streaming in from the morning sun. The sun shone beautifully over the desolate land that stretched around my shack, the only visible difference being the wrecked city inhabited by survivors.
'Let's test speed.' Not wasting a moment, I immediately dashed in a random direction. I wouldn't say I was faster, but I did feel much more in control of my body than before. I could now turn on a dime at my top speed, something I much appreciated, but that was the only clear change to my speed, so I stopped soon enough after running a few kilometers.
'Nothing heavy enough to test strength, so let's test durability' Luckily, I didn't need to go far to test my durability. Moments later, a large hulking ooze beast, its original form not visible under all the changes made by the ooze, appeared. The changes that would have scarred any normal human didn't bother me. Without further ado, I let it attack me, something that went about as expected, as the creature couldn't budge, let alone scratch my body from its hulking 3-meter form, as I simply stood there observing my system, looking at my skills, wondering what to do with them.
"Let's start with [Glacial Dread]." That lone thought activated the skill as I suddenly felt a surge of strength coursing through my bones. But not only that, a cold sensation left me paralyzed in place, while the mutant that was attacking me suddenly collapsed as if being pushed down by something invisible. However, I didn't focus on that. Instead, I concentrated on my status that appeared in sight.

'Holy hell, no wonder I feel strong, but what is this cold? I can't move!' That's all I could think as I stood there, unable to lift a foot for the next 5 minutes. During that time, I was only able to twitch my finger before the effects of [Glacial Dread: Lv 1] wore off, allowing me to finish off the poor mutant beast that was suppressed by the effect of [Glacial Dread].
I found the skill quite interesting, but I soon moved on to the final skill, [Chilled Servitude].
