Sullivan and Dahlia came to a halt in the middle of the walkway leading to the manor when they spotted Commander Harris approaching. While Dahlia exchanged polite greetings with Harris, Sullivan remained silent, his expression remained indifferent.
"I'll be accompanying Prince Sullivan to the West," Harris informed, his tone all business as his attention shifted to Sullivan. "We need to strategize the plan," he added, his words carrying a note of urgency.
Sullivan met Harris's gaze, his tone flat. "What's the plan?"
Harris gave a knowing smile, but his answer was firm. "You'll have to come with me to find out. The King is waiting for you as well," he said, speaking to Sullivan in an unusually casual manner, given their formal ranks.
Sullivan's eyes narrowed slightly at the familiarity in Harris's tone, but he didn't comment.
Instead, he glanced at Dahlia briefly before turning his attention back to the commander.
