My heart raced as I watched the leader inspect the package with growing agitation. The sense of unease that had been building within me reached a fever pitch, and I braced myself for whatever might come next.
"I-I don't know," I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper. "I was just asked to deliver it."
The leader's eyes narrowed, his gaze boring into mine with an intensity that made my blood run cold. "Who gave you this package?"
I hesitated, torn between the fear of incriminating myself and the knowledge that I needed to provide some sort of answer to appease the volatile man before me.
"Tony," I finally admitted, the name slipping from my lips before I could stop it.
A dark scowl twisted the leader's features as he processed my response. "Tony, huh? Well, it looks like Tony just signed your death warrant."
