Chapter 79 - Saya: I'll Show You The Way!

"Broadcast room?!"

Saya looked puzzled.

Now that they have a stable place, it was natural to prioritize repairs before searching for daily necessities.

But Mahiro...

"Is it?"

Saeko looked at Mahiro in surprise.

This girl had guessed Mahiro's thoughts.

"That's right."

Mahiro nodded and explained.

"You should know that those monsters are sensitive to sound."

"Hmm."

Saya nodded.

"I plan to use the broadcast room to gather the zombies in one place."

"It should allow the surviving teachers and students to catch their breath."

Mahiro said.

"Wouldn't it be too risky?"

Rei said worriedly.

If they used speakers to a specific volume, all the zombies in the school would notice.

"For me, it's not dangerous."

Mahiro smiled and shook his head.

Hearing this, several people realized that the man before them was no ordinary person.

For them, this situation was risky. But for Mahiro, it was as easy as strolling down the street.

"I'll go with you."

Saeko took a deep breath and decided to follow Mahiro.

"No, you must stay here and hold down the kendo club."

"Apart from me, you are the strongest one here."

"Although the kendo club has been safe so far, you still need to be careful."

Mahiro smiled and shook his head.

"Also, you can teach these people a little how to fight."

"After all, these things will be useful in the future."

"Okay, got it!"

Saeko sighed softly and went to the dojo to find wooden swords.

"Then I'll go with you."

"You don't know where the school's broadcast room is, right?"

Rei said.

"You stay here too. Compared to leading me, you have a bigger role staying here."

"Guard the kendo club with Saeko."

Rei, as a member of the sojutsu club, was enough to rank in the top three in the group in terms of strength.

"I'll show you the way."

Saya saw Mahiro's gaze and immediately said helplessly.

Although he treated her like a child, Saya didn't feel particularly angry; instead, she felt joy in her heart.

"Okay, take a five-minute break."

"Saya and I will go to the broadcast room in five minutes."

Mahiro said.

Being called by the first name, Saya blushed and glared at him but didn't say anything more.

As for Takashi, he had gone insane with jealousy.

He hid in a corner and cursed Mahiro, hoping he would not return.

Five minutes later, Mahiro and Saya left the kendo club and went to the broadcast room.

This time, Mahiro didn't delay on the road.

He chose to let the rest go, except for the zombies that rushed in front of him.

Soon, Saya brought Mahiro to the broadcast room.

"I don't have the key."

Looking at the closed door, Saya said helplessly.

"Stand behind me."

Hearing this, Saya retreated behind Mahiro as he waved his sword and directly destroyed the door.

ROAR!

As expected, three zombies rushed out of the broadcast room.

Two were dressed in school uniforms, and the other seemed to be the teacher in charge of the broadcast room.

Someone must have locked them...

Anyway, they were quickly killed by Mahiro.

After the zombies were killed, the two walked into the room.

Saya glanced at the mic condenser and checked its power supply.

"Thank god...it's working.."

"By the way, Where will you lead these monsters?"

Saya turned and asked Mahiro.

"Are there loudspeakers in the sports field?"

Mahiro didn't answer but asked her a question instead.

The sports field was wide and flat. Enough to gather many zombies.

"... There are."

Saya nodded.

"But before that, let's send an announcement to the whole school."

This would also attract the zombies.

Mahiro pondered for a while.

"Alright."

Mahiro stepped forward and took the microphone.

"Testing, testing, testing."

"Now, an announcement will be made."

"Survivors of Fujimi Academy, listen up."

"I will guide the zombies in the school to the sports field."

"The zombies will be attracted, and you can take this opportunity to escape."

"The Kendo Club is our current stronghold."

"So, try to reach there."

"And lastly, here's a friendly reminder: zombies are particularly sensitive to sound, and I also use this loophole to attract them."

"So please don't make too much noise when running for your life."

"I repeat, now an announcement..."

Mahiro repeated the words three times.

The announcement was for the whole school, and all speakers were used for transmission.

Saya stepped forward and cut off the power supply of the rest of the speakers, leaving the speaker on the sports field.

"Play your favorite song on a loop."

Mahiro ordered.

Zombies were mindless, and if the sound was too loud, they might be unable to tell the direction.

"Playing my favorite song!?"

Saya chose a song on the computer and played it on a loop according to Mahiro's instructions.

The next moment, only the speakers on the sports field were left playing a song.

"The zombies have been attracted in."

The broadcast room door was destroyed, although the sound inside was not as good as the speaker outside.

It was still obvious on the quiet floor, which naturally attracted the zombies' attention.

"Wait for me."
