Kapitel 11: Affirmations of Love

As I stepped into the dimly lit room, the metallic tang of blood hit my senses, sending a shiver down my spine. Dianne stood with her wrist out, blood pouring from her pores but healing slowly. Her once vibrant aura now clouded with that of a vampire and of human blood. Instinct kicked in, and without a moment's hesitation, I rushed to her side, ignoring the bloody aura swirling around us. The sight of her injuries fueled a primal rage within me, and in that moment, all I could think of was protecting her at any cost.

With trembling hands, I gently held Dianne's wrist as I watched it heal totally in my arms, my heart pounding with a mixture of hate and determination.
