Zhouzhou rose early and returned late every day, staying incredibly busy. In the blink of an eye, a few days had passed.
On the day of the competition, Zhouzhou sprang out of bed at dawn, grabbed a comb, and dashed to Ye Lingfeng's room.
As Ye Lingfeng opened the door, he raised an eyebrow upon seeing Zhouzhou.
"Daddy," Zhouzhou stood on her tiptoes, handing him the comb. "Do my hair. I want to tie several lucky ponytails today!"
Surely, this would bring her good luck. If her hair weren't so soft, she'd have liked to make each strand stand upright.
Amused by his silly daughter's words, Ye Lingfeng took the comb, lifted the little girl onto the washstand, and gently began to comb her hair. "Are you really going to fight me?" he asked casually.
"Of course!" Zhouzhou replied without hesitation, tilting her head back to look at him. "Daddy, if you're scared, just tell me. I can go easy on you."
She blinked expectantly. Ye Lingfeng gave her a light tap on the head. "Dream on."
