Kapitel 259: Don't Be A Hero

It took Ren a long time to settle his violent emotions. But, now, when he was finally calm, he was suddenly embarrassed.

How can I cry like this?! In front of Kade at that! I wanted to show my best side to him...Not this!

Ren silently cursed himself as he slowly broke the hug. He had to do it slowly because there was still a dull pain all over his body, and half of his body felt paralyzed.

Kade helped him sit comfortably. His eyes never left Ren's face.

Such concentrated gaze made Ren even more shy... to the point that his ears were burning. The overwhelming embarrassment rushed in like a flood.

If it had not been for his face being too pale, it might have turned into a tomato by now. He quickly avoided eye contact.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Ren muttered, trying to hide his flustered state, but Kade just smiled knowingly, as if he could read every thought running through Ren's mind.
