Collecting his identification card and signing a bunch of documents took an hour at most. With plenty of time to spare, Ren decided to explore his department.

He had heard so many things about the architecture and design of the military academy, and today seemed like the perfect opportunity to indulge in a little sightseeing.

The academy was divided into two main tracks. The first track consisted of students who were training to join the army as soldiers, those with the ambition to lead troops into battle or excel in physical combat.

These students were usually found in the training grounds, honing their skills under the strict supervision of military instructors.

The second track, however, catered to students focused on technical and strategic roles within the army. These were the future engineers, scientists, medics, and mecha designers, people whose expertise was needed behind the scenes.
