Aptly Petty Deity.
Once upon a time, in a faraway village nestled on a distant continent, there lived a deity known as Orya, the Living Deity of Fertility.
Orya was worshiped for blessing the lands with bountiful harvests and ensuring the prosperity of all living things. His shrine, a humble yet revered place, stood isolated atop Mount Verdant, surrounded with its own mark of civilization.
One day, a traveling bard from the nation of Merunt, in an attempt to entertain the people he met, told a humorous story mocking the fickle nature of Orya. The audience laughed heartily, unaware of the consequences their merriment would bring.
Orya, ever-watchful from his distant shrine, felt the sting of the bard's mockery. Despite being worshiped for his life-giving powers, he harbored a surprisingly vindictive spirit.
Enraged by the bard's tale, he decided to teach the bard and his homeland a lesson they would never forget.
