Kapitel 79: Kuro town
Kuro town
Golden Lion Shiki was well known for his grandiose planning and patience.
But this time he acted very quickly. He has kidnapped the sister of his target Boa Hancock. Now it was both a good and a bad thing. First of all, with an important hostage his victory against Hancock is ensured. But the problem is even if Hancock is forced to bow before him now, she is definitely going to rebel later.
So in this case his best option was to subdue Hancock with force.
Then again that's also a problem for Shiki, in terms of haki, Hancock is stronger than him. Still didn't understand how could such a young girl could possess such strong will. But if by any chance she managed to learn the application of her conqueror's haki with her physical attacks during direct confrontation, then it will be impossible to defeat her. Of course this was the case when it is only a one versus one duel.
But it wasn't a duel. It was a pirate fight. And that's where Shiki boasted his victory with his advantage in fire power and numbers.
Shiki nourished his arm which he couldn't feel anymore. There were many softening foam cushions wrapped around it to stop it from breaking from impact. Because it has been turned into stone. It hasn't broken so. So Shiki believed that the petrification can be removed by Hancock if she wishes.
But little did he know that in future these numbers will matter nothing in front of Hancock.

"Captain ! We have reached the Grado island." Tia said to Hancock.
"Alright, Sheel, Lami, you two will hide in the ship and as soon as you get a chance then filtrate the island and stay hidden. You have not awakened your haki yet. So your presence is pretty low.
Once I confirm the location of Sandersonia, I will signal you.
No remember everyone. No one will attack before Sandersonia is safe." Hancock ordered everyone.

The silver pearl came to a halt at the port of Kuro town. It was still midnight. And the town was livelier than ever. Kuro town was gathering spot for all the criminals in the world. Not only pirates but also mafias, drug dealers, thieves were all over the place. The foul smell of blood and other pungent things were all across the town.
As soon as the ship docked in the island, Silver jumped down from the ship. The first thing she did was killing a random drunkard that attacked her the moment he saw her.
After that she strollled forward to find a decent man who could give her some information.
Even though the Boa pirates had no idea that the entire Island is under the control of the golden lion Shiki, but Hancock has decided to take all kind of precautions. So they have decided to deal with the place as if the entire town is under the control of the golden lion.
From what they have known of Shiki's personality he wouldn't care if a weakling or those who have no use in his crew dies.
So Silver didn't hesitate to shoot anyone who approached her with hostile intentions.
Obviously it wasn't every day that the inhabitants of the island have seen a young girl shooting people left and right without getting hit even once. So it attracted many attention.
Not to mention a few level headed pirates have recognised the Jolly Roger of the Boa pirates. So the commotion started to spread through out the town.
Silver came to a halt in front of the most good looking bar. She entered it without hesitation.
Walking to the bartender, she sat on the table while putting on of her guns on it.
"Give me the most expensive drink you have." The bartender has obviously dealt with all kind of people. So hey didn't say anything and simply served the most expensive drink he had in the bar. Obviously the other people in the bar won't stay back seeing such attitude from a girl so young.
"Hey miss why don't you come with me ? I can make you feel really go-*click*boom*"
Before the man could finish his words, Silver shot him in his head killing him instantly.
The bartender didn't even flinch and quietly served a glass of wine.
Silver drank it in one go.
"Golden Lion Shiki has told us to reach this island in next three days. Do you know how could we contact him ?"
The moment Silver spoke about golden lion everyone in the bar halted their activities. Even though the entire town is indirectly controlled by him, no one is allowed to speak his name aloud. Only if you direct subordinate of Shiki were allowed to speak his name.
The bar tender looked left and right. He was very nervous. One wrong move can finish his business. But fortunately someone came to his rescue.
"Well hello ! Boss man is expecting you 3 days from now. I didn't expect you would reach here so soon." A sluty voice came from the entrance.
Silver turned to look back.
There was a woman with long blonde hair and brown eyes standing at the entrance of the bar with two bruly men on her either side.
The woman was in her mid thirties.
Her out fit was made of gold, which was not hiding her privates at all.
"Hello miss... ?" The woman asked Silver.
"Silver." Silver gave her name.
"Miss Silver, I am Maggie. I believe that I have the information you want. Would you like to follow me to my establishment for a chat ?" She maintained her sluty voice.
Silver didn't feel any strong person around her. She took out a gold coin and tossed it to the bartender. After peeking up the gun, she stood up from her chair.

Maggie could be considered as the overlord of Grado island. She owns more than half of the bars, casinos and all of the whore houses in the Kuro town. She had eaten feom ferom no mi. Which allows her to control and release different type of pheromones. Using the power of her devil fruit, she could control people's emotions to a certain degree. She could anger people, she could calm anyone down, she could make them feel extremely horny. The power of this fruit allowed her to partially take control of the island. Atleast until the golden lion Shiki came there.
As soon as she realised that she couldn't control Shiki like other people, she instantly submitted to him. She was a wise woman and Shiki saw her as a potential tool. So she spared the island in her hands again.
But this time when she heard that she has to deal with the most beautiful woman in the world, Maggie felt jealous. Shiki wanted to make her a subordinate. But Maggie had other plans for her.

Kapitel 80: An irritating Town
An irritating Town
Silver followed the woman named Maggie. They went to a good looking building. But that was all good about the building. From the strong smell and the naked women advertising outside, it was clear that the building was a whore house.
But thankfully the house was a lot more cleaner in the inside then it was at outside.
Maggie took Silver to the finest looking room she had.
After offering her a seat, Maggie took the seat opposite to her.
"Would you like to drink something ?" Maggie asked Silver in a sluty voice.
"Do me a favour and just stop trying to use your devil fruit powers on me. It is really annoying. If you don't then I will deal with you like every other hostile person." Silver said in a neutral tone.
Maggie's body guards came forward but Maggie stopped them.
"Here you go ! I have to admit that you are very perceptive." Maggie raised her arm in defeat.
"I said to stop completely. This is your last chance." Silver said seriously.
Maggie frowned after hearing Silver.
During her time with the Boa pirates, Silver has grown a lot. She has become very strong. In fact she was only below Hancock in terms of strength. Of course all of it was possible because of her mastery of haki. She was even more proficient in both colour of armament and observation than Gloriosa.
So she didn't got fooled by the appearance of Maggie. She has been using her devil fruit powers from the very beginning.
Silver sensed it when she tried to subtly manipulate her.
"Then you have to forgive me. Because I can't stop using my powers. You see the stability of this entire town depends upon my powers." Maggie said in a neutral voice. After seeing Silver's no nonsense attitude, she stopped trying to manipulate her.
"It's much better. Now do you know any method to contact golden lion ?" Silver asked Maggie.
"About that, the boss man will come to this Island in 3 days. He has informed me about your arrival and told me to accommodate you and you crew if you reach early." Maggie's voice turned sluty again.
"No need we can take care of ourself. Now that we can't contact the golden lion I have no reason to stay in a town like this." Silver stood up and went towards the entrance.
"Please wait ! At least take some of the souvenirs that I have prepared." Maggie called back.
Then another large man came forward holding a large bag filled with God knows what.
Silver immidiately caught the malicious intent of Maggie.
So she didn't even look back.
"No need. I don't think captain will appreciate your souvenirs.
Silver left the building.

"It's quite an annoying. Isn't it ?" Hancock asked perticularly no one.
"It is annoying but in this situation all we can do is wait for Shiki to come here. God knows what kind of trap they have been preparing for us." Gloriosa complained.
"Won't it be better if captain petrifies everyone in the town till golden lion come here ? That way we don't have to worry about traps." Lami suggested.
"Well that's a good idea." Hancock said as she stood up from her seat.
After she walked towards the front deck, she unleashed a burst of empress haki.
In an instant the entire town got covered by her haki and turned into stone statues.
The petrification process went so fast that none of them was able to do anything.

Shiki headed towards the Grado island along with dr Indigo, Scarlet, his two most trusted subordinates and Sandersonia his hostage. He believed that three of them will be enough to deal with the entire Boa pirates. Of course is floating islands are understand by along with all of his subordinates.
Dr Indigo would be able to manage Gloriosa. He might not be proficient with Haki like her, but his devil fruit power is really something else. And which his knowledge, he was the best user of the chemical chemical devil fruit.
Infact Shiki believed that doctor Indigo is enough to take down the entire crew of Boa Hancock.
It won't be easy. As most of their members have mastered haki. But it wasn't impossible. Shiki wanted to subdue Hancock in a head on fight. Only after that he can ensure her loyalty. In that regard the hostage is completely useless. But in reality she has some use. First thing first, Shiki didn't want to kill Hancock's sister and create enemity before she becomes his subordinate.
And the second thing was the strength of Sandersonia. For someone so young she was definitely not weak, in Shiki's book. In fact she could give most of his subordinates a run for their money.
And Shiki respected strength above all else. Considering that she might serve him in the future, Shiki decided to spare her life.
He was satisfied to see the ship of the Boa pirates docked in the port of Kuro town.
But something felt off. The town was quiter than usual. In fact there was no movement at all. Going near the town he understood why. Like his right arm, everyone in the town has been petrified and turned into statues.
Dr Indigo tried say something with the movement of his hands.
"What ?" Shiki didn't understand.
"It seems that she is short tempered." This time Indigo spoke.
"I still can't understand why you try to use sign language when you can speak clearly." Shiki sighe.
But looking carefully, Shiki saw the entire town is deserted because everyone has been petrified.
"It seems that it won't be easy. But this time I won't back down no matter what. And unlike Roger, she is not fully developed yet. This is my golden opportunity." Shiki said with narrowded eyes.
