Kapitel 70: To the Marineford
To the Marineford
"What a lucky bastard ! I can't believe that the most beautiful woman in the world fell for a child 12 years younger than her. I wish I would be in his place." All the soldiers in Garp's Marine ship, except for Bogard and Garp himself were eyeing Luffy enviously. Alas all they could do is sigh in defeat. They can't go anywhere near the brat as marine or not Hancock will put them six feet underground. On top of that he is the grandson of Garp. So he is untouchable.
But apart from that, anyone who saw Hancock and Luffy together, they cannot help but agree that they definitely looked very cute together.
Garp was in his own sweet world munching on rice crackers while Bogard has taken the position of the captain of the ship.
In the entire east blue, they didn't face any problem. Bogard has came all the way from the Marine ford to pick up Garp and Hancock.
Hancock has ordered to prepare enough rice crackers for Garp with all the supplies they had.
So Garp remind remind busy in his own sweet world, forgetting about his grandson who was being dotted by a certain warlord.
Garp's ship was a galleon. So it couldn't sail through the reverse mountain unlike smaller marine ships. Most of the marine ships were brig sloops, meant for speed and power. While Garp's ship was a middle sized galleon with a distinct dog figure head. Although it was quite fast despite it's size, it lacked fire power like cannons. But who in the world need a canon, when the Marine Hero Garp the fist is on board ? Garp could throw cannon balls faster than any machine !
But due to it's large size, the cannot travel through rivers mountain like other ships. They have to travel inside the calm belt by paddles.
Bogard could handle a few dozen sea kings perfectly. But there soldiers were relaxed due to the presence of Garp on the ship. There was no other reason that during their travel through the calm belt, more than half of the entire troop was peeping on Hancock bathing with Luffy.

Luffy was happily playing in the warm water inside his grandfather's ship. He never liked bathing that much. That's why he always ran away and hide when Makino take him to bath.
But now that he was getting a lot of meat in exchange of bathing, he was very happy. The indoor bathroom was very big and the pool was filled with swallow warm water, a perfect place to play for Luffy. On top of that Hancock didn't even complained.
"Yohoooooo ! This is the best !" Luffy started to splash water everywhere.
Hancock was just sitting in the swallow water while watching Luffy. He was so adorable that Hancock could stare him all the long and still not get tired. But while she was enjoying her alone time with a plush Luffy, she sensed many people outside the bathroom. They were trying to peep through the sky light window. Although due to warm water, there were some fog, but it was still annoying.
Hancock stood up from her bath and took the robe nearby she covered her body.
Then she walked near the window.
"Mero mero no beam !" She heared several panicking voice outside. But she didn't mind them and went back to her bath.
"Cool ! What was that pink light ? Was it laser light ?"
An excited Luffy asked her. And Hancock was more than enough happy to answer his questions.
"It is my devil fruit power. There are magical fruits out in the sea, that grant you an unique power in exchange of cursing you. Those fruits are called devil fruits. After eating a devil fruit you will get a distinct power. But you will lose your ability to swim and sea water will reject you. I have eaten mero mero no mi. That's why I can shoot that cool beam from my hands. It can turn anyone into stone. But as a result I can't swim." Hancock explained.
"Got it ! So they are like mystery fruits who will give me a weird ability if I eat them. But I will never able to swim again.
Then how come you are a pirate. Don't you have to stay in the sea most of the time ? What will you do if you fall off from your ship ?" Luffy asked curiously.
For a moment Hancock got lost in his cute Big eyes. But then she shook her head to come back to reality and answer his question.
"I have my crewmates who can fish me out from the water if I fall into the sea." Hancock answered.
"I got it !" Luffy said enthusiastically and went back to play in the water.

Garp was looking angrily towards his men. Apparently, they were peeping on the warlord while she was bathing with Luffy, so those who saw her turned into stone statues. Then he had to argue with Hancock for two hours straight before she turned them back.
Garp promised that, he was going to put them into a grinder for there in appropriate behaviour. So the suffering of the Marine soldiers under Garp's command started.

The second day in their journey was quite normal till the evening. But in the evening there group encountered a pirate crew. Garp was eager to show Luffy, how cool he was. Unfortunately Hancock has the same planning.
So while Garp was daydreaming about impressing Luffy to become marines, Hancock attacked the group of the pirates first. She showed quite some flashy moves with her devil fruit power and Haki.
Luffy was cheering seeing how Hancock defeated them easily.
Garp was dumbfounded that Hancock took away his chance to show off.
He later confronted Hancock about her being a bad influence on Luffy. But there is nothing regarding Garp that can't be solved by good old rice crackers.
Later garp would blame Hancock for turning Luffy into a pirate instead of red haired Shanks. But that is the story of another time.

Kapitel 71: A mundane Task
A mundane Task
"Hey ! Brat !" Garp called out to Aokiji who was cycling on the ocean. He has been recently promoted to an admiral.
Aokiji paused, and look towards the noise. He sighed when he saw his mentor Garp was weaving his hand excitedly from his ship.
"Garp san...*sigh* here goes my peaceful journey."
"So where were you going ?" Garp asked while munching on his rice crackers. Aokiji has broaded his ship. He looked towards the corner where to noteworthy people were playing with each other. If not for his knowledge as the marine anyone would have assumed that those two were normal children. Although one is the most beautiful teen in the world, and the other one is the grandson of the Marine Hero, but they scenes quiet normal outside.
"I was going back to the Marine Ford after finishing my mission." Aokiji answered after taking a look at Luffy and Hancock.
"Bhahahaha ! That's great ! We are also going to the Marine Ford. Why don't we catch up a little. I was bored with those brats in my ship.
Who plays pirates in a Marine ship !
Today's kid have no sense of right and wrong ! All they want is to look cool !" Garp fumed after glancing towards Luffy and Hancock.
Aokiji took a pic again. Luffy has taken the role of the captain and Hancock was playing first mate.
Together they were going around asking different Marine to join their crew. And from the look on her face Hancock was genuinely enjoying the game.
"I never thought that I would see the day...
The infamous snake princess and the most beautiful woman in the world playing like a child. I wish I have been born as your grandson." Aokiji said enviously.
"Fist of love !"
*Bonk*
"Aaaaa ! What was that for ?" Aokiji complained. Even though it was a playful punch without any actual intent to harm him, it was too fast for kuzan to dodge. Just after Sakazuki, he also got promoted to an admiral. Borsalino was the only one in there generation that remained as a vice admiral. But his promotion is not too far as well. But even after being promoted to an admiral, Kuzan knew that Garp who has barely past his prime could still no difference him in a real combat. Not only Garp but also the entire Monkey D family is a family of monsters. He genuinely wished about what he previously said. Not only he would have gotten the chance to fondle those heavenly bazoongas without getting turned into stone statue, but also the strength of Monkey D family.
"Kuzan ! You brat ! You are like my son ! So don't try to steal the position of my grandson too !
I was complaining to you about how the children these days are all about 'cool looking' ! And you are telling me that you are hoping to be like them too !
It seems that you need my special training again !"
Kuzan immediately realized his mistake. Garp has practically adopted him from the moment he joined marines. He knew that well. But he wasn't expecting him to react to his words so seriously.
"Wait a little ! Garp san ! I don't mean it that way. Please ! I have my duties. I am afraid that if you force me to go through your special training then they will demote me. And because the position of the three admirals cannot stay empty, Sengoku san might pester you to take that position again."
Kuzan dodged his special training.
"You are right !
So no training for you ! But I have another task for you. Stop her if she try to become a bad influence to my grandson !" Garp told Kuzan and turned away to sleep on his beach chair.
Kuzan looked enviously at Luffy. Who was being sandwiched by Hancock between her beautiful boosms. He remembered his fight with the girl. She was scarily proficient with her haki at this young age. He sighed. It was really very trouble some. He took the chair that a marine has brought for him and simply decided to sleep.

Hancock was playing with Luffy when a Marine soldier declared about their arrival in the Marineford.
"It seems that we have reached our destination."
"Hey, Hancock ! You are a pirate right ? Then why do you have to listen to my grandpa ?"
"Well I may be a pirate, but I am also the would be queen of my Island. It was for their safety. I have responsibility. That's why I became a war lord. And besides I don't have to listen to all of his orders. I can choose to ignore them. But I was nearby your Island so I decided to visit it. And besides I got to meet you and made a new friend. So it's all fine ." Hancock told Luffy.
"Well I think that becoming a queen is not cool, if you have to listen to some of the orders of my grandpa.
It sounds so complicated." Luffy complained.
"Don't worry, it is just a mundane task. I will complete it and no time and then we can go back and play as much as we want !"
"You promise ?" Luffy asked with puppy dog eyes and almost gave Hancock a heart attack.
"I promise. But remember that one day I will have to go back. But I will make sure to visit you everyone's in a while. Whenever I will visit you I will bring a lot of goodies and we can play as much as you want !" Hancock declared.
"Okay !"
