Do you want to live ?
"Father used to say that, Amber lead poisoning is not contagious from a person to person. He has done many tests on it. Amber lead poisoning happens because of the prolonged exposure of the amber lead ore directly to the skin.
It erodes the body from the inside out, though rather subtly and developing slowly. According to father, infected people showed no noticeable symptoms until it's in its final stages.
But the disease shortens the lifespan of each subsequent generation and causes the symptoms to appear that much earlier, it caused the citizens of Flevance from different generations to appear to all fall ill around the same time.
Father also found a way to treat the disease. But that way was impossible. Because he found that only purifying all the blood inside the body from Amber lead poison at once, the disease can be cured. But technically it was impossible. So he concluded that there is no method of treatment in a normal way.
He was talking about buying sometime by publishing his research world wide. But something wrong happened before that." Lami remembered the nightmare that happened before her father could bring the truth of amber lead to the entire world. She didn't even want to remember them. So she just sobbed afterwards.
"The neighbouring countries along with the people from world government called for genocide in order to prevent the disease from spreading.
*Sigh* There is no way that the government didn't know.
They probably didn't want their dirty deeds to go out." Hancock finished her sentence with disdain.
She didn't force Lami to talk about anything she didn't want. She understood that the incident has left a mental scar on the kid. She has gone through something similar. So she knew that her life won't be easy.
Then she suddenly remembered something. Hancock remember about the devil fruit confusion that the broker has created.
She didn't know, wheather the fruit gives it's user the ability to control blood or heal himself, but if by chance Lami could control her blood, then it would be probably possible to cure her disease.
"Tell me Lami, if you could get an ability that will let you control your blood then can you remove all the poison from someone's body ?" Hancock asked her.
"Probably." Lami was unsure and confused what Hancock was talking about.
"What were you planning to do, before we rescued you ?" Hancock asked again.
"I had no plans. Either way I will die soon. I was just thinking about making it les painless." Lami told blankly.
"So you don't mind if you spend last days of your life in this ship with us ?" Hancock asked Lami. If it would have been anyone else then Hancock wouldn't have shown kindness. She was not the most kind person in the world. But Hancock good relate to Lami. She was once in such a situation. When she was giving her younger sisters the hope to escape, she had given up on her own life.
"Aren't you afraid that my disease will spread to you ? Are you going to believe my words like that ?" Lami was surprised at first. But then she came out of her stupor and half shouted at Hancock.
"You were not lying. And I would rather believe a little girl than the world government. So is there any problem ?" Hancock asked her.
"No, I will die soon anyway." Lami said sighing.
"Well then take some rest after that you can come outside. We are currently hunting a treasure of the sea. If you want you can enjoy." Hancock said before leaving the room. But just before crossing the door she turned back to Lami.
"Do you want to live ?" Hancock asked Lami.
Lami couldn't answer for a long time. She was very confused. For her, death was inevitable. So she never thought about that question. But then the last words of her mother played in front of her.
"I don't know..."
"I hope you would figure it out by the time our treasure hunt ends." Hancock said before leaving.

Tia looked towards the sea chart of the north blue that they got from the marine base during their entry to the north blue. According to them it was the most accurate sea chart of the north blue, currently in circulation.
And comparing to the sea chart they got from the black market it was obvious that the Marine's sea chart might be more accurate, but there were many locations missing from it. But it wasn't a problem for Tia.
She has done this before. So she didn't feel very pressured by the job.
The location they were searching for, was some where in the south east of rubeck island. The exact location was unknown. So to save time Tia decided to narrow down the location for searching by comparing both the sea charts and the old records.
According to those records, the fruit was supposed to be inside a underwater cave. So Hancock along with Sandersonia went to buy a submarine.
The needed to search underwater and they don't even know the deapth where it would be.
It was like chasing a goose that is rumoured to be giving golden eggs without even knowing the truth.

Lami got along with the crew of the boa pirates pretty well. Well except for the old hag, who doesn't seems so friendly to approach.
Hancock was beautiful and a little bit arrogant. But she was good. Sandersonia is the big sister type who likes fighting. Marigold was clumsy, but maintained her figure even when she was the biggest eater in the entire crew.
Silver was the second in command and extremely loyal to Hancock. But she was also good.Tia, the navigator has some issues with her clothes. She seems to be half naked most of the time. Sheel was a lovely cook. And finally Gloriosa was a grandma who seems to be hate children.
She has a few days to live. Knowing that she didn't mind enjoying her last days a little bit.
Apparently Hancock and her crew were searching for some rare devil fruit which was supposed to be inside a underwater cave in the north blue.
She didn't know how they were going to find it. Until Hancock suggested to get a submarine. Hancock was a devil fruit user. A very powerful one at that. She could turn people into stone statues. Silver was in awa when she saw her fight for the first time. For a moment she wished to live and continue her adventure with them.
But she knew that it would be nothing more than a pipe dream.

Kapitel 53: A mystical peach tree
A mystical peach tree
Hikku was a shipright in the north blue. She joined the marine at young age of 17. And was an apprentice under a ship right in the grand line. Until one day she witnessed the cruelty that marines are capable of doing to innocent people. That they her sense of justice died.
A vice admiral killed a child in front of her on a whim of a world Noble. That day is superior showed her the reality of the marines. Those justice symbol are nothing but show off. Marines are no different from of the pirates with just a white coat.
After that she left the marine. And came back to her home land in the north blue where she utilised her knowledge to build ships.
After a lot of trials and failure, she finally manage to create a submarine.
And ever since then that unique style of ship made her very popular in the north blue. Submarines became very popular among scavengers and those who hunt deep sea fishes.
Even a few unorthodox pirates started to use the ship.
Slowly but surely her work became popular not only in North blue but also in other blues as well. Many of the rich nobles ordered special submarine where they can easily enjoy the underwater view with out risking their own life. So slowly her business started to rise until one day she opened her own company.
'The mermaid ships and transport.'
The name was very fancy. But her products are also very reliable. At the age of 29 she became one of the self made richest person in the north blue.
But with the money her greed started to rise as well. She started scamming people with less knowledge on the ship. It was unnatural to find a submarine in the ocean so ship rights who has proper knowledge on her ships, were not easily found. And Hikku started to monopolise on that factor to earn a lot of money. Everything was going very smoothly until one day she met a world class beauty.

"Well, the mermaid ships and transport is the only company in the north blue that actually makes submarines to travel underwater. But captain do you really think a submarine will be able to search that deep in the water ?" Silver asked with worried tone .
"From my knowledge from Rayleigh, I don't think a normal ship or even a ship made out of Adam wood will be able to resist the pressure of water of thousands of feet. If the trench where we will search for that treasure is really 5000 feet Deep, then even a steel ship won't be able to hold. That company specializes in making submarine. So I am hoping to find an expert of Deep sea trenches. Only and expert can help us in this situation. We are not in Sabaody archipelago. So we can simply coat our ship and go down. We are not going there to find a ship that can help us going down that trench. We are searching for an expert who can help us in this situation." Hancock explained.
"What are we going to do if we fail to find a proper and safe method for the search ?"
Silver asked Hancock.
"Well in that case I have another method in my mind but I don't think you will like it. In any case we will need another ship to pull that unorthodox method." Hancock said to Silver. But she didn't like the glint in her eyes at all.

"Well at least their office looks fancy." Silver commented. The office of the mermaid ship and transport was a big four storied building.
"Let's go in." Hancock said and went inside. The reception was bustling with many people. The mermaid ship and transport did not make only submarines. Although, submarine are their speciality they also make other ships. They also do the repairing work on any ship. But that's not all. They also own several cruise ships which they give in rent. Sir it was natural that they have a lot of customers. Most of them were wealthy nobles. They usually customise there ship to their test.
Hancock and silver directly went to the receptionist despite the queue. Hancock's beauty was enough to for the people to give them a wide berth. For many people, it was the first time they have seen such a beauty.
Among the crowd one person, recognised The Identity of Hancock.
"The-the-the warlord !
B-B-Boa Hancock !"
The excited shout from one random person created a lot of commotion in the office.
One of the receptionist understanding the situation immediately went to welcome Hancock while another went upstairs. Probably to inform her superior.
"La-lady Hancock ! How may I help you ?" The female receptionist said with hearts and her eyes.
"I want to meet your most experienced ship right. I have something I want to consult. I am in a hurry so can you arrange a meeting immediately ?"
Hancock said cutely.
"O-Of course !
I will immediately go to the manager please take a seat !"
The receptionist ran away immediately.
People around them were in awa. But due to the menacing glare of Silver, no one dared to comment on Hancock or tried to get near her. They served them some snacks. But not even a couple of minutes of waiting, the owner of the company, Hikku, herself came to greet Hancock.

Hancock and silver were sitting in the office of Hikku. The women was plump. But still somehow managed to keep her curves in the right place. She has black bob cut short hair along with onyx eyes.
At first she has also hearts in her eyes. But during the time of talking about business she somehow managed to calm down herself.
"So miss Hancock once to visit the Sarina trench of the north blue. Although I usually do not try to invade my customer's privacy, but are you going there to find the mystical peach tree ?" Hikku asked with a smile.
"That was not why we are trying to go there but can you tell us what is this mystical tree is all about ?" Hancock asked.
Immediately hearts formed in the eyes of Hikku. But she immediately shook her head to clear her thoughts.
"It is nothing. It is just an old story. An old folklore about a mystical peach tree inside a castle of sea orchins that live deep underwater. It was just a story. And an old one at that. Forgive me if I assumed something wrong. But I have seen many pirates who goes after these kind of adventures instead of doing the usual pirate stuff like looting. Most of the time they fail. But when they succeed they find real treasure." Hikku explained and Hancock listened with intent. She didn't know what is the new feeling in her heart but it wasn't bad. The feeling of an unknown adventure that is waiting for her. Is this the feeling her beloved Luffy felt on his journey ?
Hancock wondered.
