Kapitel 4: Rear admiral Doberman
Rear admiral Doberman
The marine ship was going on it's patrol route from Enis lobby. It was rare for a rear admiral to broad an ordinary patrol ship. But not unusual. Sometimes rear admirals and even vice admirals goes on surprise patrols. The Navy HQ has adapted this strategy after pirates got away because of corrupt marines. That's why every once in a while higher ranking Marine officers goes on surprise visits to the routes where there were less pirates activity. After becoming the fleet admiral, Sengoku has adapted this strategy. And surprisingly it was very effectful. Many corrupted marines who used to let go of the pirates who pay them some bribe money , were captured along with the pirates and Marine Soldiers involved with them.
And to get better results, Sengoku later applied a credit system to encourage rear admirals and vice admirals for these missions.
And rear admiral Doberman was on such a mission.
After the execution of the king of the pirates, the entire world became chaotic. Because of Roger's words many pirates emerged in the world. And it increased the pressure on the marines a lot.And the pressure has not decreased since the last five years.
Doberman has been promoted to a rear admiral a couple of months ago. But ever since his promotion he has failed to gain any credit point. He has been on some escort missions and regular patrol missions like this. But all of the pirate group they caught, were mostly no-name pirates. So ever since his promotion, he has not gained even a single credit point.
So when he saw a pirate ship , bearing a flag that is well known to the marines, he was really delighted.
Kuja pirates, a group of women from Amazon Lilly. That Island is situated in the calm belt. So even if marines want to, they cannot take their forces to eradicate them all at once.
He immediately went into his office to search for the bounty posters. Sure enough, he found that their current captain Doja has a bounty of 290 millions berries. There are no other big bounty than that. But any pirate worth 50 millions and above is worth minimum five credit points.
But that's not the issue here. Doberman doubted that they could win against the kuja pirates in a frontal assault without taking much damage. From the description of the bounty poster of Doja, it was clear that she has not provoked the marines very badly like the previous captains of the kuja pirates. She has been given that bounty purely on her strength. But with his zoan devil fruit and strength Doberman was confident that he would be able to take her on. The main problem was his crew. This time is enter your crew is formed by mostly newbies. So he wasn't sure how they will fair against experienced kuja pirates. But regardless of the consequences, it is his duty to uphold justice. If you soldiers will be sacrificed. But if he could capture the captain of Kuja pirates, then he will gain a lot of credit points...and ofcourse justice will be prevailed.
So without thinking much he decided to order his crew to sail towards the pirate ship.

"Captain ! A Marine ship is chasing us." Margo's voice dream everyone's attention to the crows nest.
"Tch ! We don't have time to engage with them now. We are already behind the schedule !" Doja clicked her tongue.
"Try to shake them off ! Don't change our direction ! If We can't shake then off quickly, then we will engage in combat." Doja ordered her crew.
Hancock was not pleased either. She just wanted to save her sisters. Why in the world so many obstacles were appearing in her path !
The distance between their ship is too much for her to apply conqueror's haki. And she has no long distance attack in her arsenal yet.
So all Hancock could do was greet her teeth in frustration.
The ship of the pooja pirates picked up the speed. Many of them with physical superiority went underdeck to paddle the ship.
In response marine's ship started to pick up speed as well.
But even after an hour, the Kuja pirates couldn't shake off The Marine ship.
"Don't exhaust yourself anymore. We will meet them in frontal assault. There is no point spending or energy anymore." Doja ordered the crew.
This Marine ship has been persistent in it's chase. That's why it was a better decision to stop and fight them head on. That way they won't be exhausted if they got caught by the marines.
Every pirate on board, started to pick up their respective weapons.
Hancock didn't rely on any weapon so she got ready to fight.
Whoever is on board of that ship is going to feel the wrath of the snake princess.

As soon as the marine ship came closer, a strong but controlled burst of conqueror's haki was released by Hancock.
And that was enough to knockout everyone in the enemy ship except for the rear admiral Doberman.
Doja was shocked with the display of power. But it was not the first time she has witnessed it. So she didn't say anything. She just couldn't believe that Hancock was able to master that power this fast.
Refocusing her observation haki, on the enemy ship she found that there was only a single person left in the enemy ship. But that person was very strong.
On the other hand Doberman was seriously sweating buckets. As the rear admiral of the Navy HQ he knew about the power of conqueror's haki. But someone who could knockout his entire crew including the captains, is bound to be very strong. He didn't know that captain Doja has such power. Now he was alone against all the kuja pirates. And he wasn't confident in his victory anymore.
He quickly went to helsman's chamber and changed the direction of the ship. There was still time. There was still some distance left between the two ships. It is his duty as the rear admiral to escape from them safely and report this to HQ first. But Doberman wasn't lucky. A haki coted arrow pierced him left arm inside the cabin. He couldn't dodge it as his observation haki was not good enough to detect something of that speed.
"Shit !"

Kapitel 5: Devil fruit poll

(Powers: She can petrify anyone or anything with her vision. She just needed the object to be in her eyesight. And there will be two type of petrification. The first type, normal petrification can affect anything or anyone. Then there is her awakening power, in which she will get corrosive petrification in which her target will turn into dust immidiately.
She won't be able to petrify sea stone.
And finally her abilities will work only in her hybrid and full zoan form.

Kapitel 6: Resolve
Resolve
The ship of the Kuja pirates sailed forward. After killing the rear admiral, Kuja pirates didn't loot the ship instead they just destroyed there ship and killed their denden mushi then sailed away.
Doja was very experienced. So she new what might happen if they left the rear admiral alive. It wasn't an easy fight. Rear admiral Doberman has eaten the zoan devil fruit, dog dog fruit model Doberman. And he knew armament haki. But he was no where near the level where he used to be. Hancock asked Doja, to let her fight Doberman. Doja agreed but she warned her that if she took long , then she will intervine. Hancock knew that time was the matter of importance.
The fight was brutal. Rear admiral was merciless while fighting against her. But due to her superior haki she won the fight. The rear admiral has barely awakend his observation haki. So she managed to dodge his every attack. But the same can't be said in terms of her offence. Zoan devil fruit naturally provided the man with high resilience, strenght, healing factor and stamina. Not to mention he could defend himself with armament Haki. Hancock's haki was stronger. So Hancock took a long time dodging and beating the the shit out of the dog human. The man became a practical equipment for her improvement of armament Haki.
"Oh no ! We have to sail through the florian triangle. Captain ! What should we do ?" The voice of Fu brought back Hancock from her thoughts of her previous fight. She immidiately went towards the front deck. True to Fu's words, she could see dark clouds ahead.
The florian triangle was the shortest route possible from water seven to sabaody archipelago. But the problem was due to it's atmosphere and wild waves there was a high chance of getting ship wrecked or getting lost in the thick fog.
"We don't have the time to sail around the florian triangle. Fu, this will be your first time navigating through the florian triangle. But there is a first time for everything. We have to save our sisters ! Can you navigate through these frightening fog ?" Doja's words were challenging. And hearing her words, Fu became determined.
"Don't worry captain ! I will navigate through these dense fog and wild waves !" Fu shouted.
"Then what are we waiting for ? Let's sail forward !"
"Aye aye captain !"

"Hancock, come to my cabin after finishing your food. I have something, I want to discuss with you." Doja said to Hancock while she was eating dinner. Hancock nodded her head.
After finishing her dinner, Hancock went to the captain's cabin.
Before she could knock , Doja called her in.
"Take a seat Hancock. There is something I wanted to ask you for a long time now." Hancock took the seat.
She was well aware that she was not strong like before. She was not beautiful like before. She lacks her devil fruit. So she has lost her arrogance as well.
"Ask away captain."Hancock said calmly.
"What happened to you in last few days. First you passed out in the middle of the day out of no where.
And after the attack you suddenly awakend conqueror's haki. Altho it is natural to awaken the colour of the supreme king in intense situations, but that does not explain your sudden increase in strength. You proficiency in Haki has surpassed mine. While three days ago you could only use observation haki . Even if I ignore your change in behaviour, your sudden increase in strength does not have an explanation." Doja asked in a serious face.
Hancock was not completely surprised by the question. Someone who has mastered observation haki could easily sense the increase in strength of Hancock. Not to mention her fight with the rear admiral in front of the entire crew can't be ignored. Hancock decided to tell Doja the truth. She herself has no explanation for how she ended up here after dying. It won't matter if she believed her or not. "I died. Almost 19 years from now in the future, I died in the hands of one of the 4 emperor of the sea, black beard. And then I woke up here." Hancock said seriously.
In response Doja sighed. "You are telling the truth but it is hard to believe. Can you please tell me what happened in your past life so I could understand better ?"
Hancock then procedure to tell her previous life in brief. Her enslavement by the hands of celestial dragons, her eating mero mero no mi, her and her sister's escape from the holy land, how she became the captain of the kuja pirates, how she met Luffy, the war of the best, how the world changed after that war, how the war lord system was abolished and finally how she fought and committed suicide in the hand of black beard. After her story Doja nodded solemnly.
"I understand why you want to save your sisters. Even if you three are not related by blood, you share a deeper bond than that.
But now I have another question. To what extent you are ready to go for them ? If they were sold by the time we reach sabaody archipelago, then what will you do ?" Doja asked Hancock seriously.
Hancock was not expecting this question. But she has the answer for her question. In her previous life she has not grown much after getting free from those world nobels. Her entire life was shadowed by that cursed mark. But this time it was different.
"I will save them. No matter the price, I will save them. It doesn't matter even if I have to climb all The way up to the red lines like fisher tiger, I will save them. It doesn't matter if you support me or not, I will leave the crew and save them."
Hancock was really determined to save her sisters.
"*sigh* I thought so. I know there is no way I can stop you. I cannot stop someone who has this kind of strong will along with the colour of the supreme King to back it up. But I will make this clear, I will not risk the entire crew because of those two. If we did not find them in sabaody archipelago, then we will part ways." Doja declared her decision. And Hancock nodded at that. It was not unusual. But it didn't matter. Because she was already ready for the hard ships that will come in her way.
