Kapitel 37: Utter waste of time

Ezra looked at Black for a moment before he spoke.

"I do have a goal, it is my reason to press on," Ezra said.

"Hmm, a smart choice at first sight, but that shouldn't be your driving force. The act of holding onto one goal and using it as motivation is something that will only take you far a little bit.

Your desire must not be latched onto a goal, rather your drive should simply be to get strong because of fact that the strong rule." Black said.

"That is where you fail to understand me, my goal is to be the strongest, and the reason for that is because I want to look down on all humans, and not look up at anyone," Ezra said and walked away.

"Hmm, I wanted to simply test his resolve by telling him goals are worthless, but it turned to bite me in the ass.

When he said that, his eyes showed unwavering determination like he would go to any length to complete what he said." Black mulled over their discussion for a while.
