[Atlas Kingdom, Mantle, Pietro Pharmacy]
After breakfast, Ryuko and I started looking around the city for the friendly neighborhood scientist. It didn't take me long to find someone with a prosthetic in the slums to give me directions to Pietro's Clinic, and as we headed towards the clinic, Ryuko asked me in a curious tone, "So how amazing this guy is for you to be interested in him?"
Smirking at her question I replied in a casual tone making her eyes widen at my response for the reason why, "Other than the brilliant mind of Atlas he also created the first android with a soul. Not only that he has a machine that can separate the souls of a person inside a container. Why else wouldn't I want to learn about that?"
Her eyes widened in realization crossing her arms with a grin on her face amazed by Pietro's work, "Damn… I didn't even know that kind of sci-fi shit is possible… I guess I should really keep my expectations low for this kind of thing huh?"
Scratching the back of her head I chuckled always impressed by what the world has to offer in an upbeat tone, "Trust me you aren't the only one surprised by this. It just makes the multiverse such a wonder and scary place."
She laughed at my bad attempt to woo her about the vastness of the Multiverse. Walking next to me we reached the clinic. I went up to the door and knocked.
*Bam*
Soon I saw the man I was looking for riding his fancy chair I reached out my hand to him to offer a handshake as I introduced myself to him in a respectful tone, "Hello, doctor, my name is Mash. May we talk for a bit? I wish to pick your brain on a few topics."
Pietro smiled as he took my hand, and I used [Unseen Hands] + [Gluttony] to 'share' his memories with me. Got him!
Pietro soon spoke in a friendly way moving some space and allowing us inside, "Certainly, come in, come in."
I already got what I wanted and then some, but I still want to talk with a far better man than me in a few aspects. After all, I needed to cover my bases as Pietro led Ryuko and me into his clinic, he took a seat and asked us to do the same, "Please have a seat."
I found a suitable spot and sat down with Ryuko right next to me. Pietro then asked me in a friendly tone, "So what did you want to talk about, young man?"
I then asked in a blunt tone leaning on my seat interested in some topics, "When I heard that one of Atlas' lead scientists was down here in Mantle, I figured you might be able to answer a few questions I have."
Pietro cleaned his glasses and asked me in a curious tone eyeing me, "So, what do you want to know?"
Seeing I got his interest I spoke in a calm tone generally curious about their education and career systems here, "How would I go about becoming a scientist like you aside from studying, of course?"
He smiled and replied excitedly about the topic giving me his answer and analyzing me, "Oh, is that all? It's easy, after reaching adulthood, you can apply at the Atlesian Institute of Technology for your preferred field of study."
Nodding my head I began to speak ending the conversation seeing I got all I wanted from Pietro's memories in a respectful tone, "Thank you for your insights doctor, and for your time."
Pietro stroked his bead looking slightly disappointed at my leave and said losing some of his enthusiasm, "Leaving so soon?"
I curtly nodded my head explaining myself with a defeated smile at the situation they have being unbearable to me, "Sorry, but I'm staying at Atlas for long with how things are. But it was a pleasure speaking to you doctor."
Ryuko soon stood up following my lead as Pietro sighed at my reply and bid farewell to me in an understanding tone, "Sigh… I understand, and I wish you luck in your endeavors."
I thanked the man. Oh, if only he knew what I had planned.
Ryuko soon spoke up after our abrupt departure from Pietro in a curious tone crossing her arms, "That was a lot quicker than what I was expecting, Mash. But you got what you needed from him?"
Nodding my head agreeing with her words. With the complete knowledge and memories that I acquired from the good doctor; I have an idea of what to do next. As much as I would like to meet Penny I shouldn't for the time being.
But first I'm gonna need one of those Scrolls and ID. With my ability to purchase one, it should be a fast track now to have BB scan anything from the internet of this world through the CCTS.

[Nighttime, Atlas Kingdom, Atlas City]
*Shiii*
I fell through the portal and found myself high in the air with Atlas in view below me. Using Shinra-Koketsu I activated our transformation in a serious tone, "[Life Fiber Command: Shinra-Koketsu]."
*Swoooosh*
The transformation was instant as Koketsu used [Shapeshifting] into Senketus's Shippu flying fast with my [Presence Concealment] actively controlling our flight soon finding a building overlooking the floating city.
I took a small pause at the sight was beautiful, but it was ruined for me because it was a place of racism and self-entitlement naked apes. I sighed as I worked out where I was in Atlas and went to my target, one of Atlas' science labs where the focus is on weapon systems, robotics, and engineering.
After obtaining the memories of Pietro it was easy to trick the scientist into a meeting at the last second in the Science Community Building. I already had my cloaking device at the ready as I made my way to the target.
Obtaining the memories of the scientist for my own benefit. Shame I couldn't bring Gear Eyes but stealth is not her forte.
Sticking to the rooftops, I navigated the city and soon reached the lab. I smiled beneath my mask as I made it to the roof of the lab without trouble and took out my Scroll with BB giving me a thumbs up in a cheerful tone, "Everything is ready Master. The malware program is set let's fucking gooooo!"
I cringed at that meme she used as the security network got hacked after a few minutes, and I could now use the cameras in the building to find the scientists all waiting in one of the rooms thanks to BB's false invite.
After going through the cameras, I found scientists getting ready to call it a night getting impatient waiting for the meeting that will never come. I entered the building through a window that BB automatically opened.
As I approached the locker area, I cast a sleeping spell in the form of gas and BB opened the ventilation system taking the gas everywhere in the building. Focusing on my hearing I soon heard coughing and then some dull thuds.
*Thud*
*Thud*
After a few minutes, I entered the room where the scientist was all called summoning my [Unseen Hands] each touching their faces. Soon I activated [Gluttony] sharing their memories as I licked my lips for the meal grinning wickedly at a plan well done in an excited tone, "Now this what I call a plan coming together. Now on to the next one…"
Let's see here… oh man these flavors are certainly exquisite.
I have robotics, weaponry, engineering, Dustology, Dust synthesizing, Dust applications, chemistry, experimental material development, and several other things after seeing the majority of Atlas' scientific community.
Oh man, Ironwood is gonna have a fucking nightmare figuring this out. My only regret is I wouldn't be here to witness it happening sigh… such a shame.
Still, I'm gonna need a day to neatly organize the information I got from Atlas tonight. I should probably show Ryuko around Mantle or Atlas for the time being –

Oh god, damn it… turning around I saw a familiar character as I stiffed up seeing the name and level.

Well… this situation got a lot worse. Oh, fuck my life… My eyes blinked confused before the girl in front of me named Penny spoke in a confused tone getting my attention, "Salutations, mister….!!! Are you a bad guy?"
Confused by the sudden turn of events I slowly shook my head responding, "Uuuh… Noooo?"
Penny smiled as she responded in a blunt tone causing me to be caught up in her meaning in a cheerful tone, "Ah, good! There was a high probability you were some kind of attacker, but I'm glad that wasn't the case, mister."
Slowly catching up I responded trying to gather more information from her but most importantly I replied in an innocent tone making myself look innocent, "Okay… but why are you calling me mister?"
Ignoring the knocked-out people that I'm 'sharing' their memories with Penny responded cheerfully with her brilliant smile, "For two reasons! First, I don't know your name."
Catching up muttering to myself in confusion keeping the act, "My name?"
Hearing that Penny responded in the same position in a happy tone, "Affirmative. What's your name, mister?"
Upon listening I responded in a confused tone rubbing the back of my head, "… My name is… Mash. My name is Mash Bastion."
Penny perked up introducing herself to me in a friendly manner in a cheerful tone, "Nice to meet you, Mash. I'm Penny!"
Feeling like the conversation was safe I responded wondering how to talk myself out of this position. I'm gathering insight on her in a curious tone, "Nice to meet you too, Penny… Did you by any chance see who put me in here?"
However, what Penny spoke next caught me by surprise as she was genuinely confused and asked, "Hmm? Does that mean you somehow entered here unaware? Quite mysterious!"
No kidding. But seeing how gullible she is I asked in a confused tone, "Where… where am I?"
However, Penny replied with a happy turn awkward expression as she explained after my supposed arrival in a helpful tone, "You're in Atlas City, capital city of Atlas! Specifically in Science Community Building. It doesn't look like much right now because, uh… everyone's knocked out."
Continuing to gaslighting Penny I exclaimed to her in a confused tone never, "I… I've never heard of Atlas?"
When I replied Penny expressed shock on her face explaining the other places in this world, as I magically appeared here in a disbelief tone, "That's peculiar, since it's a very important place…. Maybe you've heard of the other countries? Beyond Atlas, there's the nation of Vacuo to the west, Vale to the south, and Mistral to the east. That's all of Remnant."
Seeing this I acted distressed with my [Faker] Authority. Penny noticed when she interjected concerned with a frown, "You seem distressed."
Muttering out loud in a defeated tone to Captain Obvious, "I am distressed…"
Penny nodded at my frustration as she tried to explain to me in a concerned tone getting my attention, "I understand… But we shouldn't linger around here for too long. The officers might be nice, but sometimes they don't understand – "
Officers? Police!
My eyes widen in surprise slowly answering with some false hope in my voice with my convincing acting skills, "There's the police here?! That's great! Maybe they can help!"
However, Penny reminded me of the reality of the situation in a concerned tone and how I did end up destroying this part of the building, "That's if they're willing to listen to you. Considering that you are inside an area with the knocked-out scientist, the odds of that happening are not in your favor. As they say."
She points at the chaos around us. She's got a point. After all, Penny was almost certain that I'd be some kind of attacker or enemy…. To be fair she's right but she doesn't need to know that.
I couldn't help but mutter to Penny in a slight false panic, "What happens if they don't wanna listen?"
Penny gave me a blunt response in the simplest way possible, "They take you away. That's bad."
To the funny house, where life is beautiful all the time… crap. I'm not about to be thrown down with a Kingdom again.
Trying to regain my composure I talked to Penny about what I should do in my predicament, "But what am I supposed to do, then?!"
Penny tried to reply, "Well, I- "

The sounds of marching footsteps. Double crap!
Exclaiming shocked how we get out of this I thought we were screwed, "Oh no! What do we – "
Interjecting me immediately and quickly Penny in a rushed tone, "Sorry, Mash! Continuing the conversation would be inconvenient!"
Not before too long Penny soon grabbed hold of me princess style causing me to scramble in surprise action, "Uh? Hey, what – … WHAT?!"
The petite, cute, gentle girl who's been nothing but helpful and tried to reassure me about my situation and keep me out of trouble… Just lifted me over her head like I was a sheet of paper. She quickly apologized grabbing me like this, "Sorry for the sudden invasion of personal space!"
*SWOOOSH*

[Atlas Kingdom, Atlas City, Shopping District]
"This is a safe distance!"
Dropping me down on the street area like a sack of potatoes I grunted, "UGH!"
Ow… Standing up I leaned against the nearby wall, one hand on my mouth and the other on the plaster.
Penny noticed my condition feeling a small wave of sickness apologizing to me, "Oh, I'm sorry! I forgot to account for possible motion sickness!"
Trying to brush it off I told her it was okay trying to regain a calm tone, "It's…. it's fine…"
Upset stomach or not, she got me away from the Atlas Soldiers… Policemen don't march and come to think of it, those footsteps sounded particularly heavy.
I sighed, stood, and breathed deeply into my abdomen. I with my nose and exhaled, "Sigh…"
Out with my mouth. Rinse and repeat. After a few repetitions, I managed to focus and calm my stomach down.
Just as I was doing so regaining my composure. With my health becoming better Penny complemented my natural color returning in a happy tone, "Oooh! Your complexion looks much, much better, now."
I responded in a thankful tone then feeling a sudden urge, "Thanks. Aaah… Ah-Aaaah! AT-CHOOM!"
I sneezed in my current attire as Penny stated the obvious in an innocent tone, "I think you need a change of clothes."
Considering what I'm wearing I need clothes, period. But Shinra-Koketsu looked offended and wanted to speak but one glare from me was all it did to keep her shut.
Although I realized one small issue responding in a defeated tone, "Sounds like a good idea. But I have no money on me."
Yet the sweet Cinnamon bun Penny wanted to cover for me making me surprised, "Oh, I can cover that for you!"
Is she serious? Now I'm feeling guilty that she's helping me this much I tried to dissuade her from doing this much for a stranger like me in a calm tone, "You don't have to go through all this trouble for me…"
Yet the determined android with a heart of gold was insistent on helping me out despite the trouble I was causing her in a determined tone, "It's no trouble at all! Your size is common in Atlas so it should only be a few minutes. To be safe, though, it's better if you wait for me inside that dumpster."
Feeling somewhat disheartened I had to hide in a dumpster I couldn't comprehend how kind she was to me wanting the truth in an honest tone, "Dumpster, right… But what I meant is, why are you helping me?"
She seemed surprised by my honest response written on her face, "You don't want me to?"
Scratching the back of my head confused I tried to understand Penny more getting curious about her reasons in a confused tone, "I kind of want you to but why are you going to such lengths to help a stranger?"
However, her response through me for a loop passing over my head from her reply in her usual blunt tone that I grew accustomed to, "Oh, right. Father did tell me people aren't used to the concept of altruism anymore. But he also taught me that I should help people who need a hand. So don't worry too much and let me help you. Alright, Mash?"
Surprised by her genuine response I curtly nodded my head allowing her to help me, "… Alright."
She expressed a cheerful look that I waited as she instructed genuinely wanting to be helpful in a happy tone, "Sen-sa-tional! Now don't move from the dumpster and wait for me to come back!"
She's a very nice girl. I must be the luckiest and most unfortunate man in the world at the same time, right now.

But still… I can't believe just talking to Penny acting innocent worked.
Before I could think more about my situation the knocking from outside alerted me. Before assuming I calmed down hearing the voice of Penny helping me out, "Hey Mash! I got the new clothes for you!"
Thanking my lucky stars to Penny it's best I get out and remove the stench from this dumpster but one wave of my hand she paused. Having a quick memory change with a bit of magic I changed out of my old attire with Shinra-Koketsu shapeshifting back to normal having Penny think she bought this outfit.
*Snap*
Snapping my fingers equipping [Smooth Criminal] on I cheered seeing they fit me perfectly in a thankful tone, "They fit perfectly! I'm glad!"
All of the clothes Penny bought me, shoes included, fit like gloves. She has correctly guessed all of my sizes!
I couldn't help but marvel at them pretending as I replied to Penny thanking her greatly praising her in a grateful tone, "You have a great eye for clothes, huh? Ah, that's why those look so good on you. You made them yourself!"
However, what I said seemed to have made her confused, "Make… clothes?"
Seeing the confusion, I tried to clear up the misunderstanding in a clear tone, "Huh, yeah. Like a tailor. Unless you have a bionic eye?"
Of course, I was just messing with her. She seems to have tried to change the topic with her specific wording of choices in a nervous tone, "Uhm, of course, I can make clothes! That's how I got your sizes right! No bionics or robotics of any kind in the immediate vicinities!"
*Hiccup*
She made a small, cute hiccup. But like all good things as this is I'm afraid it will have to end. Can't have her turned criminal for little old me now?
*Snap*
*Thud*
She soon became unconscious due to my Authority of Vainglory, [Overwrite]. A part of me wanted to steal her from this world. But a part of me also told me not to because that would cross a line.
Opening a portal to Pietro's workshop I tossed her to where his couch is. He should be asleep at this time, but I altered her memories of us departing on good terms as she was busy but got attacked by the intruder.
That should be enough for her and Atlas to be fooled. But I gazed at her figure before I couldn't help myself in an annoyed tone, "Argh…! Why do I have to be the good guy in situations like these! Sigh… I do owe her one."
*Tap*
Touching her on the forehead I changed her race using my Authority of Lust, [Faker] changing her from the [Android] race to the [Human] race. At the very least Ironwood just lost his little war machine now then… time to do some trolling for tomorrow~
