"I take you to see Ramun and he somehow manages to end up dead. I am afraid if I take you to the nine headed dragon, this rather uncanny spirit of death might just follow suit."

Marenda scoffed at Sephina's ramblings, wiping off the blood that Ramun coughed up before his rather tragic, but expected, demise.

"There is no such thing as a spirit of death, but human desires and greed? Those ones surely exist. You can have your witch examine his body. He really was killed by a rather not quite uncanny spell."

"The gods, that is besides the point." Sephina declared in exasperation as she tried to catch up with Marenda who was walking so fast. "Forget my father, Khaid will have my head if he realizes I allowed you to meet the witch-spy talkless of if he realizes that said witch-spy is now dead. A rather unfortunate demise that happened to occur just when you were meeting."
