Kapitel 129: Four Leaf Cup Main Tournament

A few days after the end of the Library's qualification process, there was a congratulatory banquet for the finalists and attending elders. The banquet was filled with incredible quantities of spiritually nourishing food comparable to VIP Pavillion fare. Other than Hou Yu and Jiaojin, three others in attendance wore a Core Disciple uniform, since Sang Lihua was the only one among them to be eliminated. From the looks I noticed Hou Yu shoot Shokoya a few times, he was definitely still angry about actually being struck, even though he'd still handily won the match.

I was starting to feel more stuffed than I had in a long time when an elder addressed me. "Your teacher, Grand Elder Guo, has sent word that she will personally attend the finals of the Four Leaf Cup. So, bear that in mind for your performance."

If she's coming, Shokoya's teacher probably is too…unless it somehow has nothing to do with us, which I guess is possible.
