Kapitel 62: The Lady In Black, Part Forty-Seven

As Dylan charged towards Zenith with relentless ferocity, she braced herself for the impact, her sword raised in a defensive stance.

CLANG

Their blades met in the middle of the parking lot, with members of the High Rollers watching on. 

One of them shot an arrow at Zenith from the side. It missed, and yet Dylan looked pissed off for an entirely different reason. 

"Don't interrupt!" Dylan called out. "I want to kill this bitch myself." Then, he started swinging again. 

The force of his blows reverberated through her arms, each strike threatening to overwhelm her with its sheer power.

However, despite the intensity of Dylan's assault, Zenith couldn't shake the feeling that something was different this time.

The bone-shattering force she had gotten a taste of earlier had notably diminished, as if Dylan's strength had waned since their last encounter.
