Kapitel 33: The Lady In Black, Part Eighteen

The darkness surrounding Asuka felt suffocating. The cold touch of metal quickly let her know what kind of situation she was in. 

Chains bound her wrists, the clinks of movement echoing softly in the dimly lit room.

Blinking against the darkness, her eyes adjusted slowly, and she could make out the faint silhouette of Iris sitting a few meters away.

"Iris," she called out softly, her voice barely more than a whisper in the oppressive silence. "Hey, Iris!" She raised her volume. 

No response.

Asuka's heart sank. 

The creak of the door pierced the heavy air, drawing Asuka's attention as it swung open to reveal Dylan's imposing figure.

His presence filled the room with an air of quiet menace as he entered, his eyes fixed on Asuka with a mixture of anger and disdain.

"Well... Look who's finally awake," Dylan remarked with a sneer, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
