But Bastopher spun with terrifying speed and caught both swords by their blades between his palms, grinning. "You liked her didn't you?"

He headbutted the Bearer so hard that his skull cracked internally and the force pushed him crashing into the church pews.

"How many more times do I have to say it —" he caught an arrow of Clara's that was aimed at his back and he sent it back to her.

Boom! It exploded against her face.
