Avira instantly dropped to her knees, hands on the ground and face down to the obscure earth. She couldn't believe it, yet she knew it was true. She felt him just as she had when she had first been Enlightened.
She could feel the same aura as she felt within her. How could it be? Her God. Her Celestial. Maker of Shadows. The Dark God himself, standing before her, taking the form of his new Temple. How could it be?
"Avira," Obsidian called. "Daughter of Shadows. Light taker."
Her eyes widened once again. It really was him, even from the sound of his voice she knew it was him. She had never had his voice before, yet there was a familiarity in its depth.
Avira quivered nervously and basked her head in praise. "My God Obsidian. I am your servant only, humble, true, loyal."
"Are you?" Obsidian cocked his head, placing both hands on his back. "Are you loyal, Avira?"
"Huh?" Avira looked up at him. "Of course, my God. As loyal as a hound."
