Obsidian stood amidst the ruins that was once Kingdom Hall Mysteria like a sculptor surrounded by the shards of his own masterpiece.

Time was different in the real world compared to The Abyss, but it had not been more than hours since Spheris gave him control over his body. Yet... how many lives had he already taken?

He turned away from the obliterated body of the young Meister and looked at the rest of his handwork. Ah, Obsidian. He truly was an artist of destruction.

Spheris would not like this, neither would his Brothers, nor his Mother.

He let out a small derisive laughter. 'But how are they going to know?'

Everything was going according to plan so far. Now, he knew where the Apostle Cross was hidden even though he had to kill the most important people in the Continent to find out.

Obsidian shrugged. Anyhow, they were always going to die. The Council of Meisters would have been an obstruction to his vision for the Continent's future.
