Kapitel 83: • Fixer's Charm

Returning to his earlier position, Spheris took in deep breaths, endeavoring to calm away the side of him that he had just momentarily let out. When he was certain it was gone, he rejoined the team around the cooking fire of his Lantern.

Linne was roasting some of the Cranebirds over the fire, preparing a quick breakfast before they continued towards the bridge and towards the three mountains.

"Here you go," she handed Spheris a portion of the roast morsel. He accepted, but his eyes wandered the area in search of Talon.

"Don't worry," Linne reassured him with a grin. "He's eating some as well." She gestured towards Talon who was by the side of a smaller rock, keenly dining on the large piece of meat.

Spheris nodded approvingly, then took a bite of the meat. After a few munches, he nodded again. "Not bad."

"That's what everyone said!"
