Kapitel 61: • Vulcan Path

Beneath the oppressive gloom, more scattered bones embossed the black earth. The smell of fire and the smell of death was engulfing. Streams of molten magma snaked through the terrain, and casted an ominous crimson on the surroundings. Waves of heat washed over them relentlessly and the sense of danger was well... undeniable.

Smoke billowed from cracks in the earth, obscuring their vision and adding to the oppressive atmosphere of the place. And even the sky above was suffering from the hideousness of this path.

Swirling masses of clouds tinged with the fiery hues of the molten rivers below. Thunder rumbled in the distance, and mountains erupted with bubbles of magma.

"We can go back now if you want," Linne spoke again. "I mean this Nero guy, how important is he to you anyway? He could already be dead."

Cerene shot her another warning glance.
